Raines

April 23, 2007 by Tricia

Do you ever watch that new show Raines? It’s about a detective, played by Jeff Goldblum, that solves cases by visualizing the victims and talking to them as he works on the clues to their murder? It’s kind of like he’s talking to ghosts throughout the show.

I find the show really strange. I’m watching what I think is the third episode right now. I copied it. I think it’s usually on on Fridays. I didn’t really like the first episode, the second one was better and so far this is the best of all. Maybe it will get better over time but it’s still a different kind of show.

I was just wondering what you guys thought of this show.

Eric Schiffer offered role in Action Comedy

April 23, 2007 by Tricia

If you enjoy movies, particularly action comedy films you might be interested to know that Eric Schiffer is currently in discussions to either star or co-star in a new film with a well known A-List star.

It looks like TK Carter has also signed on to co-star in the film too. TK Carter has had roles in Dr. Detroit, Domino, and Showtimes “The Corner”.

In other exciting movie news – there’s going to be new independent release of a Charles Bronson remake. I love old Charles Bronson movies. Filming is set to begin in December 2007 in Glasgow, Scotland, and Eric Schiffer will star in this new film. The remake is currently titled “Death Wish Returns” and if all goes well it should be released in mid 2008.

Hopefully both movies will be fantastic.

Download the latest Anime releases

April 20, 2007 by Tricia

Anime is hot these days, and I’ve just come back from visiting a site that offers free anime, manga and dramas. In fact, the site has over 4,000 GB of free and paid anime.

AnimeGround is a site that offers paid membership for as low as 9.95 per month. It also has a free section that offers direct downloads of hundreds of series and movies. If you enjoy anime series this is the place to be. They host over 603 anime series – 452 manga series, and 143 drama series.

AnimeGround offers high speed downloads. Their servers have unmetered dedicated bandwidth and this makes the site work smooth, and downloading a breeze. You can download your choose files via direct download or ftp download. It’s your choice. Members can download as much as they’d like each month without any limits.

You’ll always be able to view and download the latest new anime and manga releases, as their software automatically downloads any new features and adds them to the achieve. This is great news for anime devotees as they could have the latest anime production within an hour of it’s release.

AnimeGround also has a discussion forum where you can talk about the latest and upcoming releases with forum members. There’s a general discussion area as well as sections for ratings and tutorials, graphics, and a free section.

AnimeGround is the ultimate site for Anime enthusiasts – be sure to visit.

WomanSavers – rate a guy and a whole lot more

April 13, 2007 by Tricia

Ladies listen up! Have you visited WomanSavers.com yet? If you haven’t you should take a moment to visit this site that touts itself as the worlds largest database rating good and bad guys. Some of the articles are amazing!

If you aren’t into reading some of the very interesting listings about good and bad guys or adding your own worst boyfriend to the list, you can chat with other site members, take relationship quizzes, join in on relationship polls and play women’s cartoon relationship games, shop, or read and join in the conversations on the the sites forums.

Speaking of the message boards. There is a large forum section devoted to abused women, called “Abuse Help” where women being abused can talk to others who can help, or who can offer support. A number of resources for abused women are also listed.

Other topics in the message board are general issues and general discussions, Infidelity and catching a cheater. There’s also a section for men too, and I’ll bet the men reading this were feeling left out. Men can use the message board to talk with others and get relationship advice, ideas for the perfect gift for that special woman, or perhaps even get some advice as to what women consider the perfect date.

One thing that I really like about WomanSavers is that all proceeds generated through donations or sale of WomanSaver items are donated to abused women and children’s charities.

Check it out. I think many of you will enjoy this site.

More klutzy than usual?

April 11, 2007 by Tricia

Ok I’m not sure what’s going on but I’ve broken two thing so far this week. I wonder what else I’ll break?

Last Monday Chris and I went out. I had a doctors appointment and then we went shopping after that. I’d been drinking a coffee just before we left the house and I left my mug on the table beside my desktop monitor. When we finally got home many hours later I put my purse on the chair by the computer and one of the straps caught the mug that had been near the edge of the desk and made it crash to the floor.

It was my favorite mug!

I’d cracked it before and repaired it, but this time it was beyond repair.

Then yesterday morning when I got up I reached for my glass of water. I always have a glass of water beside the bed at night – old habit. The glass slipped from my hand when it was only two or three inches above my bedside table and shattered sending water and pieces of glass everywhere.

I guess they were more freak accidents than my standard klutzy moves, but it was pretty weird to have broken two things in one week.

I wonder what’s next. There’s gotta be a third. Any guesses?
