Prosper Learning leads its students to success

May 11, 2007 by Tricia

There’s an article in US Business Review that discusses the company – Prosper Inc, which is a company that offers courses to people that help them build their businesses.

The prosper learning programs begin by offering students classes in online investing on the Stock Market and then slowly move into aspects of e-commerce. The prosper learning courses goals are to teach people how to grow their online businesses and prosper from them.

Students are taught by industry experts and are given one on one coaching. The courses are designed specifically for each students interests, ambitions and previous experience. Prosper inc. works with students in 76 Countries through web and telephone conferences, online chatting and small group coaching sessions.

The program sounds like it’s quite intense and as a result Prosper inc attempts to determine each students commitment to their goals and ensures that their spouse or family members are also offering the student their full support in their endeavors.

The article goes on to say that the students who’ve taken the Prosper learning courses have gone on to become quite successful in their business related ventures.

It certainly sounds like the Prosper learning courses would be quite a good thing to take if you are determined to be successful in an online business. Read the full article for more details.

Photo editing can be boring

May 11, 2007 by Tricia

You know what I hate about taking photographs? I take too many! I wish they were always framed just perfectly so I wouldn’t have to do anymore than upload them to my computer and use them as I wished.

Instead, I’ve been sitting here for a couple of hours going over my latest batch of photos – cropping images, creating duplicates that zoom in on aspects of the photograph that I want to highlight and so on. It’s kind of fun in a geeky kind of way, but when I’m not all that into it, it can sure be tedious.

I guess since I’m working on the photos you can expect to see a bunch of new photos across our sites over the next few days. Watch for them!

Discuss diets and healthy living at the Tincap forum

May 11, 2007 by Tricia

If you’ve been dieting and working towards losing weight, but perhaps having some difficulty because you’re trying to do it all on your own, you might be interested in taking a looking at Tincap’s weight loss program. Tincaps is a peer support community for healthy living.

First and foremost it is a forum. The various sections of the forum discusses the many types of weight loss plans, weight loss supplements and treatments.

Some of the more recent and ongoing discussions are about Isagenix – a cleansing program that helps one to lose weight, Combo diet pills, Chà de Bugre, and Top Crazy diet plans of our times. Some of the “diets” listed in that last discussion are pretty strange!

Within the Healthy Lifestyle forum you’ll find discussions about diet programs, exercise, Scams, fads and Rip offs, Articles and knowledgebase, as well as books and magazine articles. The General section contains information about the site, world news related to diet and health, and the Classifieds where you can find exercise related DVDs and tapes for sale, as well as books and various diet and health related equipment.

I think these forums would be great for people who are considering starting a diet and or exercise program who’d like to check out the various types of diets available. You know to see what really works, and what in the end has turned out to be a scam, waste of money and or not work at all.

Those who have tried many of the diet fads and weight loss treatments would make great members for this forum as well as they could discuss the pros and cons of the diets they’ve tried.

I also believe that this forum would be a great place to talk to others in order to help get motivated or re-motivated about your weight loss goals.

Membership is free. So, if you are trying to lose weight and or attempting to work on a healthier lifestyle why not check out the Tincap forum? You many learn a lot, and you might be able to help other members as well.

Shame that I should even have to ask …

May 11, 2007 by Tricia

Question for you …

Some of you have been reading this site and many of my others pretty much since day one. I’ve developed friendships with several of you, and have exchanged email and comments with many many more. I’ve worked on some of your websites, developed business relationships with a few of you and have even gotten to know some of the people that advertise on this and my other sites.

Have I ever come across to you – either on this site or any of my others, via email or comments as:

1. Rude?
2. Crazy?
3. Hard to deal with or unprofessional?

The reason why I’m asking this is because I was called all of these things in an email that I received earlier in the week. Obviously I’ve calmed down about this by now, but curious me still wants to know your opinion. Needless to say, since I don’t recall ever being called any of these things before, I found the email very upsetting.

I will not say who said these things to me. All I’d like is your opinion. Some of you know me quite well, and others only know me by what I write on my sites – either way, if you’ve been reading for a short time I think you should be able to come up with an opinion.

How to make a loving husband more romantic?

May 10, 2007 by Tricia

My husband Chris is an extremely loving and kind man. My husband tells me daily, in fact, often several times each day, how much he loves me. I feel very loved, cherished and treasured. However, if there’s anything lacking I suppose it’s a sense of romance. I mean, being told daily how much someone loves you is romantic, but I’d love to be swept off my feet every now and then. Wouldn’t you?

Chris cooks dinner occasionally, he’ll be nice and water the garden when I’m not feeling well. He’ll even rub my legs or back when they are sore. That’s nice and I’m sure many women don’t get that kind of treatment regularly.

Still, I think I need to perhaps print out a few of these romantic ideas for him. Give him a hint. I’d be thrilled if I woke up one morning and found a romantic note on the pillow beside me.

One of the other romantic ideas that I find appealing is “Ask your wife on a romantic date”. I’d love that. We do go out for dinner from time to time, but we often have friends or family around. It’s rarely just the two of us. I think it would be really quite sweet if he planned a romantic evening at one of my favorite restaurants.

We actually live fairly close to Niagara falls – the lovely Canadian side of course. It’s only about a 1.5 hour drive away. We gone there for day trips, but never to stay overnight. Considering that we never even had a honeymoon because he was just finishing his college course when we got married and I’d just started a new job, going to Niagara Falls for a very late honeymoon or perhaps a wedding anniversary would be an ideal romantic get away for us.

I wonder how I can get some of these ideas into his head without spelling it out for him? Perhaps, you my readers, could drop by his blog and leave hints for him? Hmmm?

Whether he ever does something exceedingly romantic or not – it’s ok. I love him and he loves me and that makes life pretty darn good.
