Join AutionAds and instantly get $25!

October 4, 2007 by Tricia

I’ve been using AuctionAds on my blogs pretty much since Auction ads started up in March, 2007.

Do you see the widget in my right sidebar? About a third of the way down? There’s photo’s of items and it says “Current Bid $” below them? Well that’s how I’m using AuctionAds on this site.

You can create vertical or horizontal widgets to use on your site. You can use them in posts, pages or in your sidebars if you’d like. It’s very easy. Plus, once you sign up you not only instantly get $25 added to your account immediately, but you are also automatically entered into their referral program so that anyone that signs up via your link gains you a referral.

You pick the keywords that fit with your site, article or post and AuctionAds finds products on Ebay that are being sold that fit the keyword descriptions.

For example, I just quickly created a widget that would display ipods, digital cameras or cellphones and this is what my widget looks like:

So what are you waiting for? Try AuctionAds Today!

BTW anyone who signed up, but hasn’t earned anything is apparently getting $25 added to their account too, so check your accounts! and yes, all my links are affiliate links. I’d love it if I could refer you and help you start making some money too.

Note – I’m only posting this to make you aware that you can get a free 25 bucks for signing up. This is not a paid post.

Are you ready for Halloween?

October 3, 2007 by Tricia

It’s that time of year again. Time to dress up like your favorite Ghoul, Goblin or fantasy character!

That’s right. Halloween is coming and if you haven’t picked out your costume yet there’s still time to find a great one.

I’ve spent some time looking at the huge selection of Halloween Costumes available at halloweenexpress.com and I’m impressed.

Wait did I say Halloween costumes?

grimreaper.jpg Yes they have plenty of those, but they also carry costumes for all the big holidays. If you want a Mardi Gras costume, or one for the Fourth of July, Valentines Day, St. Patricks Day, Presidents day or even Easter you should take a look at the selection at Halloweenexpress.com.

I’m sure the holiday that’s on your mind right now is Halloween as it’s only 28 days away.

Halloween Express carries costumes for adults and children. They also have a wide selection of costume accessories such as makeup, wigs, hair, masks, decorations and props and they even have group and theme based costumes. You can get everything you need for a perfect Halloween celebration.

Adults can find costumes for horror movie characters, for men, women, career costumes such as nurse, military, police and more. If you want to dress up in a sexy costume you’ll certainly be able to find something to suit your style.

harrypotter.jpg The costumes for children are fun too. Kids can dress up like their favorite movie characters from High School Musical, Harry Potter, Hannah Montana, Barbie or even as their favorite animal. You’ll also find costumes for infants.

If you’re having a Halloween party you might want to take a look at Halloweenexpress.com’s selection of decorations. You can get everything from DVDs and CDs filled with creepy music perfect for Halloween night, to hanging props, party supplies, Skeletons and Ghouls, to wall hangings.

missing.jpg If you have a good imagination you could start building your own costume in the Funny Hat section and see what you come up with on your own.

Halloweenexpress.com is a US based company, but they can ship virtually anywhere in the world. They offer several shipping options so if you do decide to purchase a costume or other Halloween goodies from them you should be able to have your items shipped to you in time for Halloween.

Visit Halloweenexpress.com today and start planning for Halloween.

Wordless Wednesday

trees at beach

I feel bleak, cold, gray ….

Sorry. I haven’t posted for a few days because I’ve been very sick.

I’ve had fevers high enough to melt the little pads off my mouse (that make it glide easily) when I lie on my side on the couch looking at my laptop computer. Now that’s hot.

Just as I was about to start posting on Tuesday afternoon I looked at the stats for several of my sites and discovered that some very hypocritical elite bloggers had made a post about my gardening blog. My first post after my illness imposed blogging break was a rebuttal on my gardening blog against hypocritical bloggers.

So yes this old picture of trees in early spring that I took at Toronto’s beaches a few years ago reflects how I’m feeling right now.

Sad. Angry. frustrated. Bleak …

DTIDATA Specializes in Hard Drive Recovery

September 28, 2007 by Tricia

I frequent quite a few forums and it’s not uncommon for me to read posts regularly about someones computer breaking down or how they got a virus and can’t boot their computer anymore or worst of all how they heard funny noises coming from their computer and then their hard drive suddenly failed.

Did you know that when you hear strange sounds or a clicking noise coming from your hard drive that it’s probably best to shut down your computer and not attempt any recovery attempts? You can end up causing more damage to your hard drive if you continue to run it when it’s in a degraded state. Doing this could make your data unrecoverable!

If you suspect that your hard drive isn’t working properly and could fail or know that it’s broken thats the time to get in touch with a hard drive repair specialist.

DTIDATA specializes in Hard Drive Recovery. Their staff of engineers keep themselves up to date on the latest technology related to hard drive data recovery. In fact, their R&D team is responsible for developing new recovery technology so you can rest assured that when you have your hard drive repaired by DTIDATA they are using the latest and likely best techniques available.

DTIDATA has a class 100 clean room that they use for all Hard Drive Recovery. This will help ensure that no dust or particles will get into your hard drive as they work on retrieving your data.

Once you send your hard drive to DTIDATA for Hard drive recovery and it’s received by the company they log it into their database and assign a case number. They then send you a message that includes your case number so that you can track your hard drives recovery.

One thing that I really like about this company is that they don’t charge any diagnostic fees. If they can’t recover data from your hard drive there’s no charge, in fact they don’t charge you at all unless they recover 100% of your data. That’s how confident they are in their service.

Hopefully your hard drive continues to work well for a long time to come, but if you ever do need to have your hard drive repaired or have the data recovered remember DTIDATA.

Yeah more money!

September 28, 2007 by Tricia

The strangest thing just happened. I got a paypal payment that said “Mass Payout” and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out what company it was from for at least 15 minutes.

It was for a decent amount of money too.

I finally managed to figure out who it was from and sighed with relief. If I hadn’t of figured it out I would have been going through all the various affiliate companies websites looking at my account on each of them to try to figure out who had just paid me.

I guess the lesson here is that if you send money to someone from Paypal make sure it’s clearly marked who it’s from or what it’s for so that the recipient can thank you!
