Small Fuschia flowers

I really enjoy having some potted fuchsia around in the summer. I usually have one or two in hanging baskets on the front porch and at least one in the garden on the patio.

I think these Fuchsia might be a slightly different variety than I normally get. The flowers are not quite as big as I’ve had on other plants in other years. I guess they are about an inch long, but I think my past Fuchsias were at least a half inch bigger. These smaller ones are kind of cute though.

Do you like Fuchsia plants? What other tropicals do you like growing in the summer?

I love fuschia and have a large tub of them in my shade garden.
The colours on your plant is lovely.

I quite like fushia, they are quitr a complex flower when you look close to them, we even have some hardy ones over here, their flowers dont tend to be a big though.

Well, those little beauties are adorable! Lovely at Christmas time, but they probably don’t bloom then??? Sadly, if not! I have all tropicals since I live in a sub tropical area…I have shots of my Porterweed on my site today for GTS, if you want to see!

What a beautiful picture !! I don’t have a green thumb, far too lazy for that, lol ! But I love to admire others work !

Please come over the Cruise stops in London/Croydon for a little walk ! I have been there in August. It’s a lovely place and better then Central London once you have seen all tourist stuff and museums !

I love fuschia, especially in hanging pots. It won’t grow here, but my brother has them in San Francisco.

I love fuschias. I haven’t tried growing them, but I look longingly at them in the shops every spring. Maybe next spring will be an actual purchase of one. 🙂
    Take care

These are lovely, Tricia — I haven’t tried to grow fuschia myself (nor any tropicals, I don’t think…), but I really like the contrast of colors on the blooms.

I love fuschia! My daughter and her husband give me a huge hanging one for Mothers Day every year. It’s about gone now tho.

I wish I could keep beautiful flowers alive. All I’m good for is cacti (I’ve managed to keep one of those alive for 5-6 years!). My partner wants to start a garden, now that we’re in a home instead of an apartment. I’m just not sure either of us has the “green thumb” luck to make it work.
