Waiting for summer

I’d rather remember the beauty of these “The Fairy” roses right now:

Instead of looking outside and watching the snow fall!

January Snowstorm Toronto

It’s been snowing here since Friday, and while I’m kind of glad that it is snowing and covering my plants – which protects them a little bit from the harsh cold, I’d much rather that it was spring or even summer right now.

Just look at those pretty roses! I can’t wait until spring when all my plants start to poke their heads up out of the earth or begin to grow new stems and leaves. It always seems like such a miracle after the cold of winter.

Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday, visit As the Garden Grows for more information.

I agreee x millions since we have about the same weather over here!

I am planning my garden right now! I want to do a raised floral bed in front of my green house. I think this will be very pretty. Also I need to get my vegetable seeds, as I need disease resistant ones for Powdery Mildew.
    The roses are lovely!

Oh yes, we all wait for the spring! We had some now over here, too, on Friday but it’s already gone now. But – I took the change to post some snow photos of my garden for today’s GTS!
P.S.: Strange, my blog has been updated but its name is still almost at the bottom of the blogroll, list, just you and Mrs. Lifecruise are on top!
Anyway, have a great Sunday, Tricia!

Fairy roses are so sweet! It’s finally winter here as well and of course all I am really thinking about is my seed orders and making a plant wishlist for spring shopping.

I wish I had the snow! It got close a few weeks ago, but all we’ve gotten has been cold rain. Oh well….

Maybe it will never stop snowing…
