This Weeks Theme is Action

This photo was taken last Saturday as my husband and I drove to Ottawa. After we had stopped for a brief break at a popular coffee shop, Tim Hortons, in Napanee we got back onto the 401 highway. Within minutes my husband asked me, “what color is your sisters car again?” and I turned around to see my sister coming up along side of us and passing us. She hadn’t noticed us yet, but a few honks caught her attention and we were soon convoying to Ottawa.

As we turned off the Queensway in Ottawa, and headed for my brothers home, I turned to snap a photo of my sister in her car. Here she is making faces at us while we waited for the lights to change.

Yes that’s plastic reptiles – two lizards and a turtle – hanging out in my back window. I am a reptile lover ya know. All I need is a bobbly head iguana and I’m set.

I posted a lizard this week on my blog for FotoPherrets on Wednesday. The theme was “small”.

Too bad she didn’t flash you as she drove by,,, that would’ve made a great pic. Talk about an action shot.

Thanks for all the great comments everyone.

Yeah, meeting up with my sister on the road did make it more fun. It was a good thing she caught up to us too. Chris was driving and he was starting to feel tired, but keeping an eye on my sis and making sure she was keeping up to us woke him up. I couldn’t share in the driving because of my right knee injury.

My sister was making faces at us when the car was stopped at some lights … well, she might have made faces at us while we were all driving, yeah, she could have.

Pikkel – I’m surprised that she didn’t flash us! I was waiting with Camera in hand. LOL

Fab – yes the world would be a better place with more bobble head iguanas. Did I ever tell you that we used to travel back and forth to Ottawa (same drive as the one in this post) with our REAL iguana in the back window? Now that would have been a good picture for another person driving in their car to have taken.

Speaking of Lizard themes … isn’t this coming Saturdays photo scavenger hunt about pets? Uh … warning WARNING warning … to anyone that’s afraid of reptiles … my photos will be reptilian in nature as that’s the only type of pets I keep! Sorry!
