Is your boss late giving you reviews?

December 17, 2006 by Tricia

My old boss was always terribly late when she gave yearly updates. She was the most disorganized person I’ve ever seen in my life. If she was still my boss I give her a copy of this Performance Rev1ew Software that I just found. It’s fantastic. Well I think it would have been.

Anyone who is managing anywhere from a few or more people would find this software helpful as it helps a manager track, evaluate and control the behavior, performance and activities of their employees. Rather than keeping all the employee information in files or various systems, a manager could keep all of the information they need in one place on their computer. Just that alone would simplify things for most bosses.

What else can a manager do with this software? Well they could track employee attendance, tardiness, missed hours, absences, employee incidents, schedule employee training sessions and expenses, plus many many more things. Actually I think it sounds like this software could track or help you organize just about any kind of information regarding your employees that you’d want it to.

Optics Planet has some great gift ideas

December 17, 2006 by Tricia

I’ve got some more cool gift ideas for you! Don’t get your loved ones socks and ties when you can get them A telescope of their very own. Ok maybe not everyone wants or needs a telescope but what about one of the many types of binoculars – Digital binoculars, monoculars, opera glasses – that are on sale now at OpticsPlanet.net

I know so many people that could use not just one but several of the items that Optics Planets sells. My brother in law loves to hunt, I don’t like him doing it so much, but he loves it so maybe one of the leupold rifle scopes would make a great gift for him. I also have nephews that would probably love the telescopes or microscopes. My sister, being an engraver might be able to use one of the loupes that they sell, and my in-laws could probably use an extra flashlight or two.

If you’re still looking for the perfect gift don’t forget to visit Optics Planet.

Planning your wedding?

December 15, 2006 by Tricia

This is the time of year when many couples end up getting engaged, and you know what happens almost immediately, sometimes minutes, after the proposal happens don’t you? The wedding planning begins. Am I right? Of course I am, I did it myself when I got engaged.

Once the wedding planning begins the bride to be’s mind will start to think of first where to get married, then who to invite and eventually somewhere along that long line of planning she’ll wonder what wedding favors she might give her guests.

Perhaps when she does start to think of what kinds of gifts to give her guests she might decide to take a look at Cheap Wedding Favors. This online store touts itself as an “Internet Wedding Superstore”. It has inexpensive personalized wedding favors for the guests, as well as for groomsmen and bridesmaids. You can have many of the items personalized at no extra charge.

There’s even cute novelty wear like the Soon to be Mrs. hoodie that can be personalized with the name the bride to be will take when she gets married. Visit the site if you or someone you know is planning their wedding.

Chicago Cubs spring training

December 15, 2006 by Tricia

Remember I was talking about how my family – siblings and their spouses – get together every year for some family related activity or holiday? I mentioned it in a post a couple of months back. Well my brother and his wife are baseball fanatics and they suggested that we go to the US and catch some of the major leagues spring training camps while we are there. Everyone has agreed. So that’s what we’re going to do.

We’re thinking about getting some Spring Training tickets to the Chicago Cubs spring training. They train in what is known as the “Cactus Leagues” Most of their games at the beginning of March are in Mesa or Phoenix Arizona which is fantastic because I’ve always wanted to go to Arizona. In Mesa the games are going to be held in Hohokam Park and the best seats for those games are right behind Home plate in section 100 row L. I think those will be the seats we try to get.

Wish us luck! I guess we’ll know in a few weeks if we are definitely going and we’ll try to get the best seats if possible.
