My Store

Did anyone notice my store yet? The link to it is at the top of the left sidebar.

It’s one of those AMAZON stores, and I filled the store with just about every product that Amazon carries.

I was hoping that perhaps, if some of my visitors already shop at Amazon if you might do some of your shopping through my Amazon store? I’ll get a small commission and you’ll be helping me earn a little bit of money- which I need since I’m not working due to my illness.

I’d really appreciate it if you would use my store if you are going to shop at Amazon anyway. Please, please please? You’ll get the products you want for a good price and you’ll be helping out a bloggin friend at the same time.

Apogee Search joins SEMPO

On October 24th, Apogee Search, the largest pure play Search Engine Marketing in the South West, announced that it had decided to endorse the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO). The purpose of SEMPO is to foster awareness of search engine marketing.

Other key supporters of SEMPO include Yahoo and Google.

By joining Sempo as a Circle member Apogee Search shall remain at the forefront of leading the search engine marketing industry through proficient, fair and ethical practices. Apogee’s focus in the Search Engine marketing field is to provide solutions that will drive targeted visitors to B2B and B2C websites, with it’s goal being to gain more leads, revenues and profits for their clients.

When is Megaglobe.com launching anyway?

I’m getting tired of waiting for megaglobe to launch. I really want to find out what this new search engine is going to be like. From all the press releases that I’ve read it sounds like it’s going to be amazing!

I think other people are getting excited about the launch of megaglobe too! I can hear all of you shouting We Want Megaglobe since I have super hearing abilities you know.

Well here I am in my video debut! I have never been seen on video on the internet, so this is a huge surprise for you! Not that it’s all that special, but well you get to see me, and you get to hear why I want megaglobe to hurry up and launch.

Oh BTW the sound in the background near the beginning of the video is just Chris moving around on our squeaky hardwood floors. It sounds like he’s farting though- but he isn’t. Honest!

My friend is moving boo hoo

Every once in a while I look through the house listings in my neighborhood.

I like to try to figure out how much our house is worth by looking at what kind of prices our neighbors homes are selling for. So far, in the five years that we’ve owned our home the price has more than doubled. Cool.

A nurse friend of mine just took a job in San Diego and she’s been busy looking for a home there so when she starts her job she’ll be ready to start and be settled with a new home. So she’s been cruising the listings of San Diego Homes for Sale frantically trying to find something that she likes. The company that just hired her is paying her a moving allowance and I think some fees towards getting her new home so she can probably get a bigger home or get one in a better area than she might have had to without their help.

I’m excited for her but I’m going to miss her. With her buying a house I think that means she’ll be gone for a number of years.

Megaglobe to offer webmaster reward program

In an earlier post I told you that a new search engine is set to launch in the very near future. The engine will go by the name Megaglobe – International Search Engine.

Well in some of the press releases that I’d read earlier it was alluded to the fact that Megaglobe was not only set to become a major country specific search engine available in over 30 languages if memory serves me correctly, but that it had also developed a new anti-click fraud algorithm which lead me to believe that it would be offering some form of ad or pay per click type of service.

I was right. Megaglobe with be offering a high commission to those that will display ads on their sites. In fact, unlike some of the other programs out there the press release that I’m reading makes it sound like they are discussing Adsense and yahoo ads without mentioning them by name – Megaglobe will share revenue generated from advertising keywords with webmasters more fairly, and as a result will show that they are recognizing the importance search engines place on their partnership with webmasters.

The press release that in which I got this information was written in June and it stated that Megaglobe was set to launch in August. It is now November so they must have had some delays, so I would assume that the launch of megaglobe is imminent.

If you are a webmaster and you want to earn some money with this new company bookmark the link above and check it regularly so you can get in at the beginning. Plus- you can submit your sites to be crawled by the Megaglobe spiders now too if you’d like.
