Speaking of money- as in my last post. I’m still trying to find ways to increase my income. Wait – what income am I talking about increasing? I don’t have an income! LOL

Are you making some money on the internet through your blog or websites? If you are – how are you doing it? I know a lot of people us a combination of Google adsense or yahoo ads and other text or banner ads.

Which ones work best for you?

Have you made enough extra money that you could actually pay a bill or treat yourself or your family to something nice regularly because of what you’ve done on your website? Tell me about it please.

Detect the speed of moving objects with a radar detector

Do you use a radar detector when you’re driving? Did you know that you could use radar detectors for other things?

If you are the coach of a junior baseball team you could use a radar detector to figure out the speed of the ball; or if your watching sports events – racing, running, swimming for example you could used them to detect the speed of a particular racer.

I bet a number of you didn’t think of those uses did you? We can’t use radar detectors here in Canada when we’re driving, well not in Ontario anyway, because they are illegal – and the fine is higher for having one than the speeding ticket would be. The website is called Illustrate My Name and they create personalised baby gifts. One of my good friends in Vancouver just had a baby boy and I’m seriously thinking of getting her baby one of these very special personalized gifts.

Illustrate my name creates personalized illustrations for children’s names. The products they make would make lovely birthday gifts, Christening gifts, and new baby gifts.
