My friend is moving boo hoo

November 16, 2006 by Tricia

Every once in a while I look through the house listings in my neighborhood.

I like to try to figure out how much our house is worth by looking at what kind of prices our neighbors homes are selling for. So far, in the five years that we’ve owned our home the price has more than doubled. Cool.

A nurse friend of mine just took a job in San Diego and she’s been busy looking for a home there so when she starts her job she’ll be ready to start and be settled with a new home. So she’s been cruising the listings of San Diego Homes for Sale frantically trying to find something that she likes. The company that just hired her is paying her a moving allowance and I think some fees towards getting her new home so she can probably get a bigger home or get one in a better area than she might have had to without their help.

I’m excited for her but I’m going to miss her. With her buying a house I think that means she’ll be gone for a number of years.

Atlanta Georgia Real Estate

October 31, 2006 by Tricia

I have some friends that live in the Atlanta Georgia area and they’re going to be buying their first house soon. They emailed me with a url to an Atlanta Area Real Estate company to show me the listings for the houses they are interested in.

While I was on the site I noticed how easy it was to navigate through the site. If I was searching for a home in the Atlanta area I could look up listings by selecting the city or County that I hoped to live in. You can also select the various features that you want – like two bathrooms, and the style of home.

There are a number of facts about the Atlanta Georgia area on the Norcross Georgia Real Estate site. It looks like there are quite a few very nice homes in the listings. I really liked one of the ones my friends are interested in, and the price seems to be good for the size of the house. The company is family owned, and my friends have been happy with their agent and the company as a whole so far.

I can’t wait to see which house they end up buying.

Buying Real estate in Dallas or Austin?

October 12, 2006 by Tricia

Austin Real estate has brokerages in Dallas and Austin and they’re offering anyone that purchases a home through them a 1.5% rebate.

If you think that paying a 6% commission to your Real Estate company is too high, then visit Austin real estate because they want to change the old fashioned system by offering half their commission to their customers.

New home owners are always looking for a way to lower expenses when buying a new home and using Austin Real Estate will save you money.
