Reruns all week – time to find other things to do!

December 20, 2011 by Tricia

The one thing I hate about the holiday season is that there’s absolutely nothing on TV. I don’t enjoy watching holiday programs. Yeah call me a Grinch or whatever you want but I don’t like them.

So I guess I’m left to venture into channels that I don’t normally watch – maybe try to find a decent movie, or a good documentary or get stuck in rerun city.

I know … maybe tomorrow I’ll actually go out to a movie. I’m dying to see The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I’ve read all three books and I’m interested in seeing this first English movie to see how well they did at interpreting the book. I’m sure the book will still be better, but the movie reviews so far sound good so I don’t think it will be a waste of money.

Do you get a little bored during the holiday season when you have some free time on your hands and there’s absolutely nothing on TV?

I have always wondered where did the custom of watching Christmas movies come from and what are the purposes of watching Christmas holiday movies at Christmas time.

It seems that lately there is nothing good on tv regardless what time of year it is. I always prefer a good movie. I still haven’t seen Girl with the Dragon Tattoo though but I heard good things about it from everyone that did.
