My Pampered Dog

September 28, 2011 by Tricia

Iams Naturals

I have absolutely no doubt that my dog, Midnight, is a pampered pet. All of our pets have been spoiled pets, but I think our Lab takes the cake. She has more toys than she can play with and she has a bed on each floor of our house.

Ever since we got our Lab we’ve always tried to feed her quality food.  She wasn’t very healthy when we got her so we had to give her a lot of special care to make her healthy.   Now of course she’s perfectly fine and extremely spoiled.

My husband is generally the person who takes our dog out for her walks.  She gets long walks in the morning and in the evening most days and most weekends we take her to the beach for a swim or to a special park for an off leash hike.  She definitely gets lots of exercise.

Even though my husband is the one who takes our dog on most of her walks, our dog is most definitely my dog.  She’s always by my side at home.   She watches everything I do and when she wants to play she knows that I’m the one who will play with her.

Do you have a pampered Pet?

As happens frequently, I am lonesome for my Brittany Spaniel, Sally.

She passed away 15 years ago, and I still miss her very much, each and every day.
She was my constant companion, leaning against my leg.

And it would not be fair to any replacement dog, as I would only want them to be Sally reincarnated.

I enjoyed reading your posts, and am happy that you have same, special bond with you dog.

    Best wishes

Sorry to hear that John, I have also a very special bond with my dogs. I really love them so much, we are best friend.

Thank you for sharing this post…

For John and Ruby, that’s okay. At least we did our best to make them happy and loved while they’re here.

I have a puppy named chuck. Yup, he’s pampered. Aside from giving him foods that he really like,he has also regular check up to a vet. Love giving him a hug and we always play outside our yard. Thanks for sharing the thoughts.

I also want a pampered pet. I will be so good to have a pet being the best friend and spend time with him/her every day.

We feed our dog raw — chicken, beef, pork roasts etc. My friend’s husband saw our freezer and commented that our dog is better fed than he is! So I guess you could say our girl is pampered. But other than her food and lots of hugs and kisses and walks, we try not to go overboard.
