What new cellphone should I get?

January 15, 2011 by Tricia

Sometime in the next month or two I think we’re going to have to get a new cellphone. Ours is about five years old and it’s just not working as well as it should any more … I mean, for example, it’s not holding it’s charge as well as it used to and that’s a pain.

I’ve always been intrigued by the iPhone, but I’m not sure I need a cellphone that does as much as the iPhone does. But then … I guess cellphones do pretty much everything these days so maybe I should get one with lots of features. What do you think of the blackberry playbook?

So … does anyone have any suggestions?

I would suggest an Android phone, there are some pretty good looking ones on the market: HTC Legend or Touch

I also would recommend something with a droid operating system, and if its true that Verizon is getting the I-phone I would look into that as well. Avoid the windows operating systems, had a phone with windows and found the operation to be extremely complex.

I would suggest the iPhone. It is a great phone and does everything I need it to

you can try AT&T Samsung smart phones with Android OS (may cost around $150 or free with 2 yr contract).

I got myself a second hand sim lock free iPhone and I LOVE it. It’s not as fast as the latest versions of the iPhone, but it’s good enough for me and I just really love the design, look and feel. I just love browsing my apps (even more than using my apps, whaha). A friend of mine has a Blackberry, but would trade it in for an iPhone any day. HTC’s phones are good as well, though. Really fast. And I like the idea of Android. But for now I’m hooked to that little apple sign on the back 😉

You should get a HTC Desire, or alternatively, wait for the iPhone 5…:-)
