Missing out on a great opportunity

June 1, 2010 by Tricia

I’m disappointed today. As I said in my previous posts I threw my back out again and it’s really aching.

Unfortunately this means that I probably can’t do something tomorrow that I’ve been looking forward to for about a week.

I was invited to go to the Google Canada offices tomorrow for lunch to discuss my experiences with Adsense and possibly give some suggestions as to how they could make it better.

I was lucky enough to have been invited to the first Canada Google Partner day last October and I was surprised to have been invited to what sounded like a smaller and possibly even more informal gathering at Google so soon (or at all!).

I really want to go, but I don’t think that I can sit for very long with my back the way it is. Hmmm maybe they’d let me lie on the floor? LOL Nah, not going to do that!

Instead of going to Google Canada tomorrow I guess I’ll spend some time working on my websites and blogs and perhaps start searching for unique gifts for dad since Father’s day is coming up soon.

Hopefully I’ll get another invite to Google sometime in the future. Perhaps they’ll have another Partner day this fall? Sigh …

Back ache is really bad and disturbance to work. My friend has been suffering for back ache for almost 2 weeks and all she can do is to stay in bed.

    Hi,

I have recently missed out a wonderful opportunity just because of the backache, this has got even worst inthe last few weeks this was the case our new bath store opening has been delayed for 2 months for Ireland and Scotland.

Anyway, coming back to the point, I just believe everything happens for a reason and you should too.

    Regards,
    Ivona

Back in time is also had some problems with my back. But then I started to sleep on the floor, with blankets below me. And I have to say it worked for me… Maybe you should also try. Hope it will work for you too!

Back pain can be terribly hindering. Chiropractors are always a great way in helping long term, though this is no compensation for the immediate pain. Never try and self-diagnose as this can lead to further complication down the line. Always seek the advice of a professional, good luck and hope it gets better for you.

Relax, lie back and bombard yourself with positive thoughts and feel all the positive emotions that they bring.
