Healing Jewelry

May 13, 2009 by Tricia

I just remembered something. Back when I was about to have my first Thyroid surgery (and hopefully only, but it’s not looking that way right now) I was a jeweller.

The Jewelery trade here in Toronto is like a close knit family and once people new I was sick and that I was going to have to have surgery they sent their best wishes and suggested several thing that would help me heal.

One of my Jeweler friends game me a choker necklace made with a stone that was said to promote healing and ward off cancer. The stone is called Carnelian and it’s beautiful. It’s a warm orangish brown and the necklace is composed of stones that have been shaped into beads.

I think I’ll go upstairs in a little while and dig through my jewelry box and find that necklace. Hey, it can’t hurt to wear it for a while. Maybe it will help. It certainly won’t hurt to try.

I have never heard of that type of stone, but what ever puts you at ease will help!

Agreed- at the very minimum the soothing effect of the stone should help calm your nerves…be one with the universe!

If you ever find it, can you take a picture of that and post it here?

I am curious about how that choker necklace looks like.

I myself am a jeweler. I own a jewellery store here in Montreal. My friend owns one in GTA, Toronto. Its located at Ellesmere and Kennedy, in that small mall sort of thing. Sorry for the lack of description, I am not from the GTA. Its near a Wendys restaurant and a Gas station.

I’m not a jeweler but i do once heard about such Carnelian stone, how beautiful it is and its ability to cure illness and prevent cancer.

My friend’s mother had once used it and she did recover form her illness…
But not sure whether it was coming from the stone as they tried quite many curing methods..

Cool site, I know stones like crystals hold energy and maybe this stone had the right kind for you. Jewelry was given in the earlier days as a gift and as a spiritual gift for good will and health.
