Increase your sales leads with AIMpromote CRM software

July 27, 2008 by Tricia

Over the last few months I’ve purchased some marketing and blog related programs in the hopes of learning more about affiliate marketing. I’ve been using the knowledge and skills that I’ve gained from these programs to work on the launch of two new websites.

Considering that I’ll be selling some new products on these websites it’s time to start thinking about how I’ll keep track of sales, and how I’ll create contact lists for future product offerings.

I’ve been looking at crm software, particularly the software made by AIMpromote, as this software is an on-demand web based application that is used to manage the handling of sales leads. The company has made this crm software fairly easy to use compared to other crm products on the market and there are so many features that I think any business would find this crm software quite helpful.

There are a number of great features to this software that I believe will come in handy as I begin to generate sales. The features that apply most to my immediate needs are Marketing automation, the ability to create custom tasks, the ability to create a newsletter and mass mail it to subscribers and or sales leads, email templates and automatic lead distribution.

Other features that I’m interested in, that I believe would apply to anyone who has an online business are the ability to track visitors, web Analytics, tracking campaign performance, real-time reporting, tracking of revenue from leads, e-commerce sales and breaking down gross profits and net profits.

There are dozens more great features. As I said I can easily see any online business finding this crm software quite useful to their business. For example if you have an online business and you’ve hired staff to assist in sales, this sales management software will be flexible enough to allow one to have multiple authentication levels, track the performance of your sales team, and streamline your sales team.

The main focus of this software is on handling leads which of course is what I’ll need if I want my product launch to be successful and profitable. I’m sure most businesses would benefit from the assistance of a product that handled their leads and helped them see what worked well as they marketed their products and which approaches or methods don’t work for their company.

If you are interested in increasing your companies sales take a look at AIMpromote.

Dahlias and Daylilies – oh my!

My front boulevard garden is blooming happily right now. There are daylily, sunflower, cosmo, dahlia and morning glory blooms in abundance. It’s just lovely.

Dahlia

I love these huge pink cactus dahlia blooms. There’s only two or three flowers so far since the three dahlia plants have only just started blooming, but they’ll continue to grow taller and develop more blooms throughout the summer and well into the fall.

If I’m lucky a plant or two might even survive the winter. If I’m smart this fall I could simply dig up the roots and store them in a cool area of the basement and replant them in the spring. I always seem to forget to do this though!

Daylily

I suppose the color of the daylilies doesn’t really go with the pink Dahlias, but when you see the whole boulevard garden all the colors blend in well.

I think the bright yellow sunflowers help tie the two contrasting colors together.

How is your garden doing this summer? Are some of your favorite plants blooming right now?

Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday, visit As the Garden Grows for more information. GTS participants remember to check in at As the Garden Grows each week so that we’ll know you made a new post!

Just about ready to go to the Canadian Open and concert

July 26, 2008 by Tricia

Well in a little while Chris and I will be off to the Glen Abbey golf course to watch some of the Canadian Open semi-finals and then to go to the Tom Cochrane and Red Rider concert.

We just called the info line at the Canadian Open to find out about parking and the shuttle service that they are offering and we found out that there’s already a delay in play on the course.

I have a feeling there will be lots of delays today because we are under a severe thunder storm watch. We’re expecting severe winds and large hail. Great eh? Maybe Chris and I should wear our swimsuits when we go because I’m certain we’re going to get wet!

Apparently yesterdays concert didn’t start until 9 pm because of delays. Golf play is expected to end between 6 and 7 pm and the concerts start up right at the end of play but because of all the delays the concert started late too.

The main attraction for us is the concert so we are holding off going to Glen Abbey until about 4 or perhaps even 5 pm. We’re also delaying because we don’t have anyone to watch our dog and we don’t want to leave her alone for too long.

I’m almost always home so Midnight hasn’t spent a lot of time alone. of course there’s been times when we’ve been out for two to four hours without her but that’s the longest she’s been left alone. So it looks like this afternoon and evening will be her longest stretch on her own. She’ll be in her crate with her favorite toys so I think she’ll do ok. Luckily she’s not a barker!

She loves sticks, water and food!

Midnight in her new favorite place – The Beach!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen her any happier than when she’s in the water with a stick to fetch and other dogs to play with, she just loves it.

Well ok … when she’s eating or offered a treat she’s just as happy. It’s a very close tie, too close to call.

Oh and the last time we were at the beach (last weekend) there were a number of wind and Kite surfers there. Man those guys are built! They don’t need any kind of bodybuilding supplements with the workout they get on the lake. We had a hard time keeping Midnight away from the kites that came down close to shore!

Have a small bathroom? Get a small tub at betterbathrooms

July 23, 2008 by Tricia

Do you live in a home with a fairly small bathroom? This seems to be typical of older homes – at least here in North America. My home was built in 1927 and my upstairs bathroom is tiny. It’s only about 8 feet long by 6 feet wide – or smaller. Now imagine a full size bath, toilet and sink in there? There’s barely enough room to walk past the bathroom utilities!

If you have a small bathroom in your home and either don’t have the means to renovate or the space to make a larger bathroom you might want to look at the selection of Small Baths that are available at BetterBathrooms.com.

If I ever redo my bathroom without making it larger I’ll probably get a small bathtub so it will fit in the space better. Some might say why not just convert to a shower, and while I do mainly shower in that bathroom it’s still nice to have the ability to soak in a tub every once in a while isn’t it?

Now BetterBathrooms.com doesn’t just sell products designed for small bathrooms, although it’s nice that they do, they also have a wide variety of regular and large baths, baths with whirlpool or air spa systems and a whole range of shower systems, bathroom accessories and furnishings as well as bathroom fixtures. They actually have over 3,000 products available for purchase at their online store.

BetterBathrooms.com’s business has grown over the years, so much so that now they are able to negotiate excellent deals with their suppliers which of course allows them to offer very low prices to their customers. They actually guarantee the lowest price to their customers, “we guarantee that if customers can find a cheaper like for like deal on any other online store, we will match it, such is our confidence in our prices, and our goal to bring our customers the best deals at the best prices.” Now that’s a great guarantee!

This company is located in the UK and is able to ship products throughout the UK.
