Personalized gifts, stories, songs and DVDs for kids

June 16, 2008 by Tricia

I’ve just come across a site that I think parents will love. The site is called Kids Personally and they specialize in personalizing kids DVDS, children’s book , kids songs, gifts and several other items that can personalized.

I’m not exactly sure how they personalized kids DVD but they can actually put pictures of your child in popular DVDs such as Spiderman, Dora the Explorer and other DVDs that are popular right now.

The companies premise is that a child using a book that’s been personalized or listening to a song that’s about them will pay more attention and likely learn more from the story that’s being told. Plus I’m sure it would make a child feel very special if they were to get anything with their name or image on it. I know when I was a kid I felt very special when I was given a name plate for my door that had my very hard to find name on it.

Kids Personally even has items like personalized alarm clocks that sings the childs’ name. How cool is that.

I don’t have any kids, but I do have young nieces and nephews. I think I just found a great site for Birthday and Christmas gifts for them. Visit the site to hear sample songs and view some of the great items. I’m sure you’ll like them.

What a mess! My keyboard is also a depository of food – especially after my teenaged daughter uses it!

Personalized kids books make the most perfect gift for children because they will have something that they can treasure forever. Instead of buying children toys that will be outgrown or broken, a personalized CD or storybook makes a wonderful gift that keeps on giving. Imagine the joy on your child’s face when they see their new storybook with them in the story. Children’s imaginations are wonderful things and to help your child continue his or her imaginative ways, a personalized story book is excellent.

This is a great idea and cool site, makes sense that a kid will pay more attention if the song or dvd is personalized.

This is a very good idea. I only remember silver spoons with engravings and mugs with the kids name on it, but your own storybook… that’s really something.
