Behind every great man …

April 29, 2008 by Tricia

Helping hand

Behind every great man … Is a great woman!

This one appears to not only be following her man, but lending him a helping hand. LOL

I don’t know why, but I like watching people do their thing. Whether they’re shopping in the grocery store or the mall or just walking down the street. Everyone is so individual. Sometimes you catch some pretty funny sights like the one above as well!

Not that I people watch very often mind you, but when I do I almost always see something interesting or strange.

When we went to Chicago in the summer of 2006 I caught this photo of a girl crossing the street in her almost thigh high boots. There’s nothing wrong with what she’s wearing. Not really … well, until you learn that it was mid August and about 100 F outside.

Hot and humid and it looks like she’s wearing winter boots!

Good thing she had shorts on as I’m sure she must have been hot with those things on.

Do you take a moment to look at the people hustling and bustling around you?

I worked in a local airport about six years ago. I began my people watching hobby back in those days. I saw people coming from all walks of life, from everywhere in the world. Some people dressed to the nines and some dressed like they just got out of the shower (literally). Very enjoyable post.

Great photos! I wish more people would stop and look around a little bit more. It is amazing the things that you can learn from simply watching others.
