Fondly remembering my Florida spring vacation

April 14, 2008 by Tricia

Spring is a wonderful time to take a vacation isn’t it? I’ve been enjoying spring here in my own city, but I can’t help remembering some of the great spring vacations I’ve taken in the past. Actually now that I think of it, I think I’ve been to Florida in the spring more often than any other place in the world that I’ve vacationed.

The last time I went to Florida for spring vacation was several years ago. It was beautiful. The temperatures were in the 70’s to low 80’s so it was extremely comfortable.

I stayed with some friends in the Tampa and Orlando area. We visited both Tampa, Orlando and several other cities across the State. You see one of my nurse friends had traveled with me to Florida but she was staying in Boca Raton so we went there to spend a day with her and even drove down to Miami and visited the Miami Seaquarium. I guess we spent a lot of time traveling by car, but it was well worth it.

If you’re planning a spring vacation you should visit Trusted Tours & Attractions. They offer discounted tickets to the very best sightseeing tours. You’ll find discounted sight seeing tour tickets as well as some great information for 23 cities across America.

I actually wish I’d known about this companies website when I was looking for things to do in Orlando and other Florida cities. I could have even picked up some discount tickets for not only sight seeing tours but local attractions and I believe hotel rates as well.

If you expect to be going on vacation this spring or perhaps later in the year you might want to sign up for their newsletter. When you sign up for their newsletter before the end of April you’ll be entered in a contest where you could win a hand held system. Isn’t that great?

The newsletter is full of travel tips, interesting stories and links to travel blogs. I’m sure you’ll find it interesting and informative.

Visit the website, I’m sure you’ll find some great travel ideas!

You are absolutely right about Florida in the spring. I have family who, until recently, lived in Miami, and I have some fond memories of spending time down there in March and April.

Winter down there can be nice too, because it is really mild.

Florida sounds like fun. Maybe next time look further north, us in the Outer Banks know how to relax =)

    Hi Tricia,

I’m from New Zealand and have family living in Florida. I don’t really hear much from them but they do say it’s a really nice place. Do you know how hot 80 degrees Fahrenheit is in Celsius? I think it might be too hot over there for me.

    Thanks,

    Sarah.

I actually lived in Orlando for about six months, and there’s really a ton of things to do there. Not just the theme parks, but also plenty of nice areas in both Old Downtown and the entertainment districts. Highly recommended.

I have never been to Florida in the spring. I used to go in the summer a lot but never in the spring. I’d like to sometime.
