Wordless Wednesday

Mirror boxing

Don’t you love watching animals looking at themselves in a mirror? This cat looks like it’s about to tickle it’s reflection.

When I was walking Midnight our Lab puppy this afternoon we passed by a small apartment building and she happened to stop and gaze at the glass apartment door entrance. Well she started barking her head off after she finally noticed herself in the glass.

Sometimes when she sees her reflection I think she realizes that it’s herself and other times she seems to think it’s another dog. It’s pretty funny to watch her reaction.

Whenever I put my dog in front of a mirror, she will look away. I don’t know what is the problem…if she is afraid or what? Cat’s are just so dang confident aren’t they?

I am always amazed by the way animals behave while they see their reflection
