Frustrating doctors appointment

January 27, 2008 by Tricia

The week before last I went to see my pain doctor. It was not a good visit. In fact I came home so upset I started crying and my poor puppy who’d never seen me upset like that didn’t know what the heck was going on.

Why was I so upset? A medical student. My pain doctor occasionally has medical students in her office. She lets them talk to her patients while she sees another patient then she comes in and talks to her patient with the medical student present.

drug treatment as she’s always telling me about new medications that will be coming out soon that might help me with the pain from my Crohns.

I’m sorry you are not feeling well. How did your Dr determine that you had the Crohns? I ask because I hated the Dr I went to – he did not do a thing for me. So I figure I gotta do it on my own…

    Tricia:
I am so sorry that you have to be in so much pain with that darn illness. I’ve never known anyone with it. However I have had friends and some acquaintances with Chronic Fatigue and their symptoms are constant pain and extreme fatigure. Getting to know you through these blogs has been such a blessing in my life. I thoroughly enjoy reading each of your posts and hearing all about your life – the ups and the downs. Just keep writing about the pain and sharing it with us because I’m sure it helps you to deal with it and I’m sure the other bloggers including myself are here for you.

    Hang in there!!!
    God Bless!

    Tricia,
So sorry you are not feeling well. Sure your disease does affect your spirit and patience. But the poor student was only doing her job.
The good thing is that Midnight does care about you as much as you do about her. At least you have her to comfort you.
    A lot of hugs!

Have you tried herbals? Or perhaps, virgin coconut oil with peppermint massages, or reflexology? Perhaps, the web can help you.

I hope you feel better soon.

    Cheers!
