Upgrade your small businesses phone system

November 21, 2007 by Tricia

If you own a small business and have been thinking of upgrading your telephone system to one that includes voIP technology you might want to visit Neobits and have a look at their Talkswitch phone systems.

Neobits specializes in providing phone systems to small businesses. When I say small businesses I mean small, with perhaps only two employees to larger small businesses with up to 300 employees who would use the system. They currently have over 3000 customers nationwide. Their clients belong to just about every field of business from retail to medical to construction and so on.

Neobits is able to perform local installation services in every zip code across the nation and their customers can choose from dial tone and or broadband internet services.

Now I’ll bet you’d like to know what kind of telephone brands are available with their phone systems? Well, Neobits offers major brand name telephone systems from Panasonic, Avaya, NEC, Allworx, Talkswitch, Epygi and several others.

Neobits also offers a complete range of telephone system accessories such as headsets, corded telephones, surge protection, cordless phones, voicemail systems and more. While you are on the site you can visit their forums or read their client testimonials.

Winters not here and I’m already longing for Spring!

Look at that. It’s the first night that I’m aware of it being below zero and now all I can think of is how I can’t wait for spring to come! This is a photo of Toronto’s Beach area just off of Lakeshore boulevard in early spring. Pretty isn’t it?

I think part of the reason is that I was going over a number of my older photos yesterday and I was looking at so many pictures of spring flowers that, that started my pining for Spring.

Well … I may have something to help me get through winter, but the catch is that it will probably make me go out and face the cold more often. Ironic eh? I’ll tell you about it in another post later today.

Have a great Sunday!

Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday, visit As the Garden Grows for more information.

Winter is coming!

November 18, 2007 by Tricia

I can’t believe how cold it is here! It’s -3 Celsius (26 F) right now!

We still haven’t done much to prepare our garden for winter. Who am I kidding we’ve barely cleaned up the fallen leaves! I guess we’ll have to go out into the yard later today and freeze our butts off and get all that work done or at least start it. It normally takes about two full days to do all the garden winterizing work. I’m not looking forward to it.

I know it’s not that cold, but I have fevers all the time, and when your running a fever even a reasonable temperature can make you feel cold.

The next thing I want to do is maybe get one of those car covers. A really heavy duty one. We live close to work and mainly only drive our car about once a week to go to the grocery store or to visit friends and our car is starting to get old. I’m afraid that all that exposure to snow and ice is going to make it start to rust out. I don’t know if a car cover would protect it that much but at least our doors won’t freeze shut like they normally do!

Are you starting to feel winters arrival too?

My in your face husband

This weeks theme is I love Chris

Sometimes I don’t know why … but I love Chris.

Those of you who managed to meet him last week in Las Vegas probably won’t forget him anytime soon. When there’s a party he tries his best to be the life of it. I seriously think that I’m the only one in the world that gets to see calm Chris. He’s even hyper at work … but that keeps him going and keeps him happy.

He’s a lively guy!

What the heck is going on with pagerank?

November 15, 2007 by Tricia

I’m so totally fed up with Google. I don’t even care about page rank anymore or well … I’m trying not to, but it’s hard. Some of my sites have been slammed three times! The latest Google hit took several of my sites down to zero!

Even my website that’s been running since 1995 got hit and is now down to zero! How can a 12 year old site that gets thousands of visitors each day be a PR 0?

This is insane!

It makes me feel like packing up, moving to Australia and becoming one of those Perth Nannies that I hear about every so often. Really … this is nuts!

This site had a PR5 a few weeks ago, then it bumped down to three and luckily it’s holding but I’m not going to hold my breath on that. However, as I anticipated the Google Page rank update I was seriously thinking this site would go up to at least a PR6.

I mean, it’s number 6 on the Truth Laid Bear! I’m listed in the top 10 with sites like Michelle Malkin, Daily Kos, Instapundit, TMZ, Free Onions, Power Line, Captains Quarters, Slashdot and Hot Air … sites that get major linkage each and every day. Which of course means that this site is getting major linkage each and every day.

Google’s gone insane as far as I’m concerned.
