Fresh Trends Body Jewelry

June 20, 2007 by Tricia

How many of you reading this post have at least one body piercing? I would bet that a number of you have your nose, or your navel, tongue or eyebrow pierced not to mention many other body parts!

Well, if you have piercings you probably stop to look at body jewelry when you come across stands in the mall or elsewhere. Am I right? Trouble is most of the body jewelry that you can buy at stands are really just cheap costume jewelry.

Wouldn’t it be great to buy some gold body jewelry at a great low price?

Try visiting Freshtrends.com where you’ll find a huge selection of quality body jewelry. I don’t think that there’s a type or style of body jewelry that Fresh Trends doesn’t carry.

On the main page of the site you can select from categories such as Barbells and tongue rings, basic body jewelry, belly button and navel rings, body piercing retainers, body piercing supplies, captive bead rings, circular barbells, eyebrow jewelry and flexible body jewelry. They even have earrings, toe rings, belt buckles, temporary tattoos and t-shirts.

Fresh Trends sells body jewelry for pretty much every type of piercing that you can think of. I love this online store!

If you visit Fresh Trends be sure to check out their sales page to see what body jewelry is on sale that day or week.

If you love a bargain be sure to register with the site as you’ll get 10% off your purchases. Plus, if you buy $25 or more worth of items your shipping is free.

Do you see why I love this store? They have an amazing selection. Check it out for yourself.

The center of the storm

June 20, 2007 by Tricia

Uhmmm … remember that storm I was talking about? You know the one that hit Toronto at about 4 pm yesterday? Caused a massive temperature drop … although who could tell with the humidity!

Well … as gusts of rain were whipping past my dining room window like heavy snowfall bringing with it the lids from my garbage cans that had been secured and moving my barbecue down the lane way trees were crashing down on houses only two blocks away!

My area of the city was the worst hit by the storm.

You’ve got to read this CTV news story, and take a look at the photos to see what kind of damage the massive storm caused. There’s a video on the same page that you can watch, but I can’t get it to play on my computer. You might have better luck.

I knew it was a bad storm. I just didn’t realize how bad it truly was nor that I was in the middle of it.

Geez Toronto is like 60 miles across and I had to have all that action in my neighborhood? I’m just thankful it missed us. Our neighbor has a huge maple tree. If it had come down it would have crushed our roof too!

I’ll be taking a look at that tree in the morning to make sure it looks healthy!

I hate storms. Stuff like this just seems to re-enforce my dislike of storms.

Well, at least my gardens got a good watering!

Increase sales with CRM software

June 20, 2007 by Tricia

As a former business owner myself I know the importance of being able to keep track of sales, leads and promotions. Unfortunately, back when I owned my business I didn’t have access to well developed lead management software.

If you run a business that depends on sales and leads you should consider purchasing customer relationship management software.

AIMpromote has developed a CRM software program that can be integrated into your system with your website. They’ll actually do this for your free of charge, in fact there are no set up fees of any kind.

Their lead management software is easy to use and has a fast learning curve. Considering that the cost of implementing a new software program into the workplace has to take into account how long it takes your employees and sales team to learn to use the software efficiently I’m sure you’ll see that a program such as this with it’s fast learning curve will cut down training time and keep your sales team working and making sales.

AIMpromotes lead management software will help you improve sales. The key features of this popular CRM software include Sales management, campaign tracking, the ability to create a custom lead list, a lead reseller system and sales force automation, the Lead attention meter, visitor tracking, mortgage lead management, private labeling, and automatic lead distribution.

Visit the AIMpromote website to view a demo of their lead tracking software and then take advantage of the free 14 day trial so that you can try this fantastic CRM software before you buy.

Our camouflage vine

Wordless Wednesday

This is my Dropmore Scarlet Honey Suckle vine. It’s huge and hardy.

We have an eye sore of a guide wire in the back of our yard. I guess it’s an anchor wire for the electric pole in our other neighbors yard. To hide this terrible wire we’ve tried growing a variety of vines on the wire. So far it seems that the Dropmore Scarlet Honey Suckle has been the most successful.

It’s very hardy so it came right back after our winter. That’s so nice since the vine is very exposed throughout or cold winter.

Do you use vines or plants in your yard to hide eye sores?

Condos as investment properties

June 20, 2007 by Tricia

When Chris and I were first shopping around for a new home we mainly looked at houses, but we also looked at a few condos.

Having lived in an apartment for far too many years I really wasn’t all that interested in living in a condo so I’m happy that we opted to purchase the house that we currently live in.

I did get some ideas about purchasing a condo as an investment property though and if I ever get enough extra money saved up I might buy a condo that I’d use to rent out.

Coincidentally, while I was looking into condos as an investment I came across the concept of Condo Hotels. These are basically properties that function like hotels but if I have the concept down pat each condo is owned by a separate investor. The management company does all the work as far as taking bookings and serving the clients that book the condos.

Typically these type of condos are not rented out for just a day or two like a normal hotel room would be. No, they are rented for a week or a month at a time. Perhaps by a business person that’s in town doing business for a few months.

It’s an interesting idea. Certainly if you liked the idea of purchasing a condo as an investment property but didn’t want to do all the work of maintaining the condo and making sure that the condo was booked most of the year something like a condo hotel would be a great option.
