I had to replace a few of my roses last year as I lost some due to the mild winter that we had … This winter has lots of snow cover so far so I’m hoping that all my roses and other plants make it this time round.

This rose, Double Delight, is one of the replacement roses that I purchased. I bought it to replace Fragrant cloud. Isn’t it a lovely rose? I love the multiple shades of pink and white within each flower.

Double Delight is a very popular hybrid rose. I can now see why! It has a light scent and the blooms seem to last for days. I think I’m going to enjoy this rose.

    Hi Tricia:
You have movitivated me to buy some new plants for 2008 and try my green thumb again. Years ago I use to have plants all over my house and a few in my yard. Hopefully I will start with an African Violet for indoors and some pansies for outdoors. Wish me luck.

Also, I mentioned your blog in my last post for 2007. Hopefully that is okay with you.

    Happy New Year.
    Ellen

    Hey!
Thanks for coming by my blog too! Its so nice to have people stop by 🙂 Unfourtanatally the snow that I have gotten here in Norway for the past two days was not anywhere near a snow storm. But has been enough to cover the ground. I am loving the winter weather (from southern california, I never experience that!).
Hope you will come by again! I bookmarked you already 🙂
    From, Your new blogging friend!
