Oh man it’s nice to take a look at this glimpse of better times today!

We’ve had a major winter storm with what they say was about 40 cm (16 inches) of snow, but walking the pup and looking at the driveways that haven’t been shoveled next to sidewalks that have I’d say that Saturday and today’s snow storms brought us 2 feet of snow!

I took this photo of one of my Moulinex roses on the first of October. My roses continued to bloom until at least Mid November when it really started to cool down here in Toronto.

Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday, visit As the Garden Grows for more information.

Shat a beautiful rose! I love it’s shape. I live on the west coast, but I can only plant roses in large pots on my deck. Otherwise, the deer get to enjoy my roses as appetizers! Even though we don’t get snow, we’re getting gray weather and the decks and plants look so pitiful. Probably why I’m so happy for spring once it arrives.

Flowers always make for great pictures…I live in central NJ and we got rain instead of the snow; but my in laws in PA got hit with the major snow storm 😉

I love snow, it’s all too rare here, in these “greenhouse” days 🙁
