Meeting Mr. Fab

November 14, 2007 by Tricia

Wordless Wednesday

One of the things I was looking forward to on my trip to Las Vegas was meeting the infamous Mr. Fab from Pointless Drivel. I’ve known him for close to two years and it was about time we finally met!

Here we are at Tattoo Alley after a few drinks …

Fab and Trish

He and my husband Chris got along famously. Two peas in a pod those two!

Chris and Fab

Some might think Mr. Fab is all fluff (and feathers)

Fab

But those of us that know him know he has a strong character – here he is proving how strong he is by lifting Colleen:

We also discovered that he likes to sing and dance, among other things! Here he is with Alli and Colleen

As you can probably tell we had a great time last Thursday night. We also had a few too many drinks, but that’s another story!

You can see more photos from my trip to Vegas at Flickr.

The picture of Mr. Fab with the boa on…the one with your husband is my favorite. That one really makes me smile.

Working at home Oh yes we had a great time. We got into Las Vegas late on Friday afternoon and after struggling to get the internet working in our room and even changing rooms we gave up, called Mr. Fab and met up with him. Later in the evening a number of other bloggers who’d already been partying elsewhere joined us and that’s when the party really got started!

And Miles to Go … you should check out my flickr account (just click a photo to go there) … there’s lots of fun pics! We had a pretty good time. I was sick during my trip but I tried to make the best of it when I could.

Adam maybe you’ll get to make the next PostieCon. It was a lot of fun and well worth going just to meet all the bloggers that we connect with regularly. If I’d felt better during the trip I would have tried to network a bit more … but that’s another good reason to go to an event like this.

Leigh if you click one of my photos you can see the rest of the photos we took while in Vegas. I think I had the most fun Thursday night, partly because I got really sick after that … but I think also because everyone was just so happy to be meeting for the first time it added a little bit more excitement to the air.

Dee Mr. Fab is very much like his blog … actually he might be a little toned down from what you get on his blog but still he’s a barrel of fun! LOL

Mike yes definitely check out Fabs blog. He can be a wild guy! I’m sure you’ll get a laugh or twenty most days out of his posts! I only made it to blogworld for two hours because I was sooooo sick but I tried to hit all the booths that were there and discovered some pretty cool applications that I hope to discuss later today or tomorrow on this blog or one of my more tech related blogs.

Mr. Fab Well I thought it was you! Don’t tell me I’m praising the wrong guy!

Heather we’d like to go back to Vegas again sometime soon too. I’ll make sure I’m healthy (or as close to it as I get) the next time we go though. We missed so much! Still we had a great time and I’m very happy to have met you and everyone else that we managed to meet.

Thebluebutterfly … yes Fab was a real ham with that Boa on! Chris went to get us drinks and came back with the Boa instead! LOL Once a number of other bloggers joined us several of them had fun with the boa too.
