Do you like Heroes this season?

November 7, 2007 by Tricia

Have you been watching Heroes this season? I don’t know about you, but I’m not enjoying as much as last season. Perhaps it’s because the characters are scattered all over the globe and keep bouncing back and forth from the present to the past.

I’m not having trouble following it … I just don’t like it. I guess I liked it better when more of the main characters were together rather than all over the place.

I mean, Hiro has finally come back to what I think is the present from where ever he was in Japan … maybe Okinawa Japan? Peter’s bouncing from Ireland to Montreal, to future New York back to present Montreal. The Dominicans might have made it across the border or maybe not … but if they are Dominicans why are they in Mexico anyway? Then we can add a Northern European city into the mix as well as New Orleans, a town in Texas and maybe Los Angeles?

It’s too much … put more Heroes together!

I think I liked this last episode better than any so far this season and that might be because there were more characters together in scenes than there have been in any other episode so far this season. Where is that clinic located anyway? I can’t remember if we even know where it is.

I watch it religiously but it’s starting to confuse me. Too many heroes, IMO, and not enough resolutions with some of them. Is Nikki/Jessica’s husband really dead? What’s with the cop’s (the one who can read minds) father? Is he now trapped in the kitchen from years prior? Is Claire’s dad a good guy or a bad guy? Is Claire’s mom in on it as well? I like some of newer heroes…. the Mexican brother/sister…. but this Sylar really scares me!! LOL Peter’s loss of memory confuses me …. and lots more! But I keep watching and getting more and more confused it seems!

Maybe we’ll have to wait until they get together for the show to get better. So far I like the plot, except the Claire-boyfriend part… and I can’t wait until Sylar gets rid of the siblings once and for all! (brains, yummie)

I think it’s funny how everyone really likes and also really dislikes part of the show and how everyones likes and dislikes are so different. At least this show has fairly strong and interesting characters.

The creator Tim Kring actually apologized for the suckiness of the show thus far this season. http://aftershocks.sweet-catastrophe.com/heroes-2×07-nov-6th/

When the strike lets up we should see an improvement though!

Season 3 is crazy! Its starting to look even better than the two previous seasons! Good thing they had 9 months to think about what they were going to do, because I wasn’t anticipating such a strong return.
