Non-stop roses

The day time temperatures are still nice enough but it’s beginning to get close to zero at night these days.

Surprisingly my roses, sunflowers and many of my other flowers are still blooming away quite happily as if they don’t care that winter will soon be here.

I took this photo a couple of years ago and I believe it’s of my Compte de Chambord rose, but it could be Jacques Cartier. I really should name my roses when I upload them to flickr eh?

My roses are still blooming too! In the winter of 78 I had roses blooming on Christmas day. Four days later we got one of the worst winter storms and had snow and ice on the ground clear up to Feb 9. I remember it so well because the storm hit the day I went into labor with twins and the snow was still on the ground the day that they were suppose to have been born.
