I love my PVR

September 25, 2007 by Tricia

I’m so happy I have a PVR. As you might be able to tell I’m still busy working on my blogs this evening. The only problem, for me that is, is that many of my favorite shows have their premieres on right now.

No worries! Earlier today I looked through the channels and found all the show I wanted to record on the PVR. So shows like Bones and NCIS which I think are premieres are taping while I’m busy typing away.

The only downside to all this is that Chris came home from work at 8 pm and he’s not so patiently waiting for me to finish my computer work so we can settle down and watch these shows together.

I’ll get there soon hun!

Oh and another thing I like about having a PVR … Last night there were a lot of new shows premiering. Of course we wanted to watch the shows that we’re already hooked on like Heroes and CSI Miami – some of which were playing while the brand new series were premiering. Again – no problem. I can tape two shows at once. So we ended up taping about 8 programs last night. Of course we didn’t get to watch all of them so they are stored on the PVR’s hard drive and we can watch them at our leisure. Did I mention that we can also zoom through commercials on the shows we’ve taped. Oh I like that too!

Yah!! I got a PVR too!! It seriously is one of the greatest things. With the amount of new shows this fall, I’ve been programming them all in the timers. Now it’s the weekend where I can sit back and relax while catching up one shows recorded throughout the week.

Seriously! LOL The only way we can check out the new shows and watch the returning ones we love is to tape them and watch them on the weekends. 😉

Glad to hear you’ve got a PVR too.
