Marketing and promoting our sites!

September 23, 2007 by Tricia

I think I spent close to two hours today adding people to the blogrolls that I run and adding a few of my sites to blogrolls run by others! I also listed our sites on a few new directories that I discovered.

Busy busy! I’d say I spent most of this week working on advertising and promoting our sites. Hopefully the time I put into this pays off in the near future.

How did you spend your Saturday?

Saturday? Usually I’ve wasted my precious Saturday everytime. I used almost all my time on internet, do something which are totally not enjoying and are useless in my life. I realized this. But everytime when I tried to arrange some interesting things to do in saturday, I failed at last. Because I will do the same meaningless thing. Anyway I hope that I can change this bad habit soon 🙂

My daughter and I took our puppy to training class on Saturday. It’s always an interesting and tiring day, two more classes and the puppy graduates! Btw, I appreciate all the work you do on the DoFollow blog roll, thanks so very much for keeping it going and updated. 😀

The only directories you should submit to are pay-for-consideration ones. NOT pay-for-inclusion because they accept just anyone. Google has got wise to this, I’m hearing anyway, and demoting them in the ranks. But pay for consideration directories, with standards other than just “give us your money”, they still do ok.

I know how you feel with the time it takes to market your blog. However, your time spent was probably well worth it. This is my first visit to your blog and from what I’ve seen you have some interesting posts that I’ve enjoyed reading.
