I am still sick

March 25, 2007 by Tricia

Well, I guess I’m always sick, but I’m worse than normal this week.

Yesterday I woke up with a very sore throat. As the day progressed I noticed that my neck, shoulder and knees were all sore too.

My abdomen of course has also been giving me a lot of trouble this week with it’s appendicitis like pain. I’m just a mess it seems.

I haven’t been sleeping well, if at all, because of my abdominal pain, and now that these other symptoms such as the sore throat and achy joints have cropped up I’m starting to wonder if I’m fighting some kind of bug.

My pain meds aren’t working because my body is having trouble digesting the pills. TMI? So I might be more miserable than I should be. Well I guess I am.

I’m just sick of being sick.

Exactly. I swear, it feels like I’ve got gut rot. I can’t sleep, I can’t eat. I’m just miserable.
