Paidbycash card works just like a credit card for online purchases

February 15, 2007 by Tricia

Readers, you’re going to love this. A new service has just started that will allow anyone without a credit card to pay cash for online services. The new service is called PaidByCash and I imagine that almost everyone is going to find this to be one of the most useful new online services to come out in the last decade.

PaidbyCash works very much like a credit card, but it’s not a credit card. It’s a prepaid virtual Mastercard. The value of the card is limited to the amount of money that you load into the account, and it’s accepted by virtually every online merchant.

It’s easy to activate your account with PaidbyCash. Just register on the site with your name, address, telephone number and email. No financial information is exchanged since this is not a credit card.

You can load your account with up to $350 at a time and you can make multiple purchases with that single load.

This new card will open the door to many consumers who do not have, or possibly do not qualify for credit cards. Now they will be able to use just about any online service to which they had previously been excluded.

Services such as online games should expect an increase in business now that PaidbyCash has arrived, as I’m sure many gamers that were limited in their choice of sites to play on due to not having a credit card will now be playing on all of the sites that had required a credit card payment prior to Paidbycash arrival on the scene.

Unfortunately this program is only available to those with a valid U.S. address, but do keep an eye on this service if you live outside the US. Perhaps as it’s popularity increases it will expand it’s services to more areas.

13 Reasons why I can’t wait for Spring

February 15, 2007 by Tricia

Thirteen Things about why I can’t wait for spring!

This is Thursday Thirteen #34

I can’t wait for Spring because …

1…. It’s freakin’ cold!!!

2…. Too much snow.

3…. I want to get outside for daily walks but between the subzero temperatures and snow I need to wait for better weather.

4….I love the soft yet bright greens of Spring.

5…. I’m going stir crazy stuck inside this house.

6….We get together with our friends more often when the weather is nicer.

7…. I can get in the garden.

8…. I’m dying to see the first green leaves of my crocus’ and other Spring flowers poke up through the earth.

9…. I love barbeque’s! It’s too cold and windy to BBQ outside in January and February (sometimes March too).

10….I want to go bicycling. It’s not as much fun in the snow.

11…. I can sit outside in my garden with my laptop and do my computer work.

12…. maybe I’ll be feeling good enough to get back to work by Spring?

13…. Spring is my favorite month – full of new life.

Who’s your favorite bands?

My new Random Link button

February 15, 2007 by Tricia

Look over to the top of the left sidebar. Do you see the new button there? The one that says random link?

Click it.

Don’t worry, the random site will open up in a new tab so you won’t lose me. I’ll wait for you to come back ….

dummm de dummm …

Ok you’re back. Who did you end up visiting?

The new random link button will take you to one of the sites that I’ve linked to in my blogroll. Cool eh?

Now, I haven’t gone through my complete blogroll lately so if you ever try my random link button and come across a site that’s moved, that doesn’t seem to be a blog, or that is extremely offensive (sites change) please let me know.

I’ve added this button so that the people in my blogroll can get a few more visitors each week, and so that my readers can discover new sites that they might like as much as I do.

If you like the site that my random link button sends you to please do tell them that you came over from my site.

Also, if you use WordPress and if you’d like to get a random link button of your own just visit Owen the creator of the Random Link button. It’s easy to set up.

Canadian Company marketing Data

February 15, 2007 by Tricia

If you are a marketer or developer you might be interested in purchasing the Canada Company Marketing Data. The data base contains over 1,110,000 Canadian company profiles. The Canadian company profiles listed in the database are from all of the the provinces and territories of Canada.

Marketers might be interested in purchasing the database bundle for use with your mail, email, and telecommunications marketing efforts. You can even use the database for researched based information as well.

Webmasters might be interested in this huge database of information in order to create directories for particular types of companies and companies that fall within particular niches.

All of the companies listed within the database have been extensively researched and validated.

If you are interested in purchasing the Canadian Company Marketing database bundle you can get 20% off the purchase price. I’m not sure how long this special price will be available so do look into this software soon if you want to save some money.
