Strange Amazon sales

January 3, 2007 by Tricia

Ok fess up!

I was just looking at my Amazon account, checking to see if anybody bought anything through my links, or my Amazon store this week and I was very surprised to see what I had sold.

Someone bought:

Grafco® Stainless Steel Graves Vaginal Speculum, Medium (4″ x ¼”)

Speculum

I guess a doctor, or maybe a midwife came through one of my sites and then visited Amazon and bought two speculums. I didn’t even know Amazon sold medical equipment let along those things!

Amazon really does sell everything.

I wonder if it was a Christmas present?

Some people frame the first dollar they ever earned from a business or even the first check they received.

I think you should frame the Amazon Direct Deposit receipt for the First Speculum ever sold through an Astore! That’s hillarious.

Maybe you should offer some accessories too. Wal-Mart is great as cross promoting things, putting batteries next to flash lights and stuff.

You could add some latex gloves and lubricant and maybe even a warmer so things aren’t too cold.

I jest, but someday you might look back and realize that this was the day you became a speculum sales woman.
