Halloween photos tomorrow

October 30, 2006 by Tricia

I’m going to post a whole series of very nice Halloween photos tomorrow on my photoblog.

I haven’t worked the posts out yet, but I have a number of pictures that I want to show tomorrow so the posts will be changed approximately every two hours.

If you love Halloween you won’t want to miss my series of creepy shots! Remember to visit Breath of Life tomorrow to see the photos. If you miss any you can just look through the archive or click on previous post.

The first creepy Halloween photo will go up at midnight on Breath of Life.

Affiliate Marketing Forum

October 30, 2006 by Tricia

As many of you know I’ve been off work now for close to eleven months. I’ve been searching high and low for different ways to make money online- legally of course – and I’ve had some success in my quest.

Now, as I was surfing today for yet more opportunities to either promote my sites through search engine optimization or ways to make some extra income I came across the Affiliate Marketing Forums – Revenue Source. The site is a forum who’s main purpose is to provide a central place for bloggers to find affiliate, marketing and SEO opportunities.

I know that many of my readers, as well as several of the blogs that I see when I’m surfing through blog sites have affiliate programs on their sites – programs like linkshare, text link ads, google adsense and many more. Well, this forum discusses many of these programs and I think this would be a good place for any blogger who is looking to promote their site to check out. What could be better than talking with other bloggers about their experiences with these programs?

Hugh Laurie SNL

October 30, 2006 by Tricia

Hugh Laurie was on Saturday night live the other night. OMG he’s hilarious! Did anyone see SNL this past weekend?

I know that a lot of my readers like Hugh Laurie on House. It was very interesting for me to see him do comedy and sing. Yes he sang and quite well too if I say so myself. Of course his singing sketch was a comedy – he was signing a real song but messing up the words. In another sketch he was dressed as a woman. Take it from me he’s much more attractive as a man.

I went looking on YouTube.com to see if anyone had uploaded any scenes from his SNL performance but I haven’t found any so far. I did find one of him on Friends though. Do you remember Hugh Laurie’s appearance in Friends? I didn’t. See it for yourself.

Piggybob personal accounting system

October 30, 2006 by Tricia

Piggybob – don’t you just love that name? Yes, but what is it? Piggybob is a personal accounting software program that I just found as I was surfing the net. It’s a user friendly personal finance and time manager.

With this software you can keep track of all of your income and your various expenses in a simple and easy manner. It looks like it’s easier to use than other programs that I’ve tried such as Microsoft Money. You simply file in the pop up boxes when you want to add an expense or add income and the system keeps track of your finances for you.

The software also comes with a calendar to which you can add anything from friends and relatives birthdays, important meetings, appointments or due dates for bills that must be paid. You can also set reminder alarms for any of these calendar related events.

This software looks like it would be great for anyone from someone who wants to keep track of their finances at home to a small business owner. You can download a fully functional 30 day free trial from the website and see for yourself if this simple personal accounting system suits your needs.

No sleep and yet another Doctors appointment

October 30, 2006 by Tricia

There are some people I’m getting sick of seeing. Know who? Doctors. I have yet another doctors appointment at 10 this morning. It’s only the pain doc that I’m seeing. I think she just wants to see if some new meds she gave me two weeks ago are working (not yet).

She’s been talking about putting me on yet another type of medication for my pain. This ones a bit controversial. If she does give me a prescription later today I’ll tell you what it is. It might be interesting to see what my readers think about this drug.

Unfortunately it’s 5 a.m. and I’m still up. What else is new. I can’t sleep at night because of the pain, but if I don’t sleep a bit I’ll end up being in even more pain. Vicious cycle. I guess I should try to go to bed and sleep for about three hours or so, and then get up for my appointment.

Wish me luck! I’m probably going to have a sucky day since I’ll be so tired.
