Yet another Rose

December 3, 2006 by Tricia

Yves Piaget

This rose is the lovely Yves Piaget, from the Romantica Rose Series.

It has a light yet heavenly scent, full multi-petaled blooms and a dusty rose color. The blooms last approximately 5 to 7 days.

I was just thinking that with about 60 different rose plants I could put a photo up on all my site each day for a whole year or more with all the photographs that I’ve taken of them over the last few years. Hmmm well it’s an idea anyway. LOL

Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday, visit As the Garden Grows for more information.

Horny Animals

December 3, 2006 by Tricia

It’s bad enough when it seems that people have sex on their minds all the time, but did you ever stop to think that a lot of animals are like that too?

Do you have an animal at home that tries to hump objects in your house? or maybe you or your guests?

The horniest dog I ever met was my brothers dachshund. My brother was living in the Caribbean at the time and I’d gone to visit him and his wife for the summer. I soon learned that their little dog Sammy had a problem. You see, if he ever disappeared for more than a few minutes we had an idea of what he was up to. He’d sneak into my brother and his wife’s bedroom and hump their pillows. It got to the point that they had to keep their door closed all the time. The poor dog was obsessed.

In the following video you’ll see a variety of horny animals trying to mate – I think unsuccessfully in most cases- with everything from stuffed animals, to humans to tractors and more. Have a peek:

Funny Christmas Ecards

December 3, 2006 by Tricia

Do you ever send Ecards to your friends or families for their birthdays, special occasions or maybe for holidays such as Christmas? I don’t necessarily mean rather than sending out a real card, but perhaps in addition to sending a Christmas card? Well if you do I’ve found a site that carries a whole line of funny Christmas ecards that you might be interested in looking at right now.

Egreetings.com has a whole selections of ecards for every occasion, but since Christmas is coming up let me just tell you about a few of the ones that I really like right now. Who knows, if you tell me your address maybe I’ll send you one?

I really enjoyed watching the ecard “A christmas Pick me up” I don’t want to give away the whole thing because this is something you need to see rather than hear about, but lets just say it’s an Elf with the top 5 elf pick up lines. It’s cute, a bit raunchy and it’s very funny.

The one I like best is of course Snakes on a Sleigh it’s a parody of snakes on a plane – full of intrigue, revenge and horror and it’s hilarious!

These cards are really good. Plus I really like the site. If I become a member of the site I can receive a 30 day free trial of eCards and the yearly subscription is only $13.99. With cards this funny I think I’d be sending out more cards and getting my moneys worth. If I become a member I’d also be able to schedule the eCards to arrive instantly or on specific dates. I like that feature.

I’ll leave you with one more – A visit from Bad Santa – Don’t show your kids, they might be disappointed.

Prom dresses already?

December 3, 2006 by Tricia

My niece is going to be graduating next year from high school and she’s already looking around trying to find the idea prom dress to wear. Somehow, between her and her mother I got railroaded into helping her find the perfect dress. She wants to go shopping today! Today of all times when Christmas shopping is in full swing? Uh no hun. How about we see what’s online?

So I started looking around online and I found a site called Talk Prom Dresses where you can learn about the latest styles and where to buy them and even talk to others online about the various styles. I can’t believe the line of
2007 prom dresses. They look great. I’ve always thought of prom dresses as something like brides maid dresses – styles to be worn once and never again, but I was wrong. The styles for 2007 are quite nice. I’d be happy to buy one to wear to a wedding as a guest or for a nice evening out on the town.

Maybe helping my niece pick out her prom dress won’t be all that bad? Perhaps I’ll even find a new dress to add to my collection for the nights I feel well enough to go out and have some fun.

Light as Air

This weeks Theme is Light(s)

00030461

Doesn’t this kitten appear to be just floating in mid air? Or perhaps as if it jumped and someone had great timing when taking the photo? It does doesn’t it? That’s why I choose this photo for todays theme. The cat just seems to be light as air.

I think that the cat is standing on a clear glass table. What do you think?
