Stop and smell the flowers

November 29, 2006 by Tricia

Wordless Wednesday

image003

There once was a kitty,
Who climbed up a tree,
I thought oh what a pity
and for help I did plea.

But as it turned out
The kitty was just fine
I should never have doubt
Oh how I wished that kitty was mine

There was only one reason
that the kitty climbed the tree
The blossoms were in season
while smelling the flowers kitty looked down at me.

Ok not the best little rhyme but I thought I’d do something a little different. Isn’t that kitten cute?

That is an AMAZING picture! You wrote the poem, too? Did you take this photo????? Very cool when the pic and photo are together. 😉

A kitten drunk on dogwood fragrance (is that a dogwood blossom?).
There are few things as adorably vulnerable as a kitten or puppy’s belly.

The best way to get a kitten out of a tree is with a crossbow.
