In the last three years I’ve expanded my garden to include the boulevard in front of our house. This area is planted with Sunflowers, Day Lilies, Dalhia, Delphinium, Morning Glory vine, Salvia, Marigolds, Alysium, Alaskian Daisies, and Peonies.

We planted this area for both our enjoyment and for our neighbors enjoyment. Also, we are one of the only houses for blocks to have planted the boulevard, so it’s pretty easy for visitors to find our house.

Want to Join Green Thumb Sundays? Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday, visit As the Garden Grows for more information.

Nah … you just need to come and live near me. I seem to garden for most of my neighbors. I spent an hour on Saturday weeding two of our neighbors front gardens, and I’ve been known to donate plants and even put them in the ground myself. All they gotta do is water.
