Thirteen Things about Tricia

1…. I hear noises in my house when everyone else is in bed asleep. Sometimes it sounds like music is playing faintly in the distance.

2…. Our house used to be owned in the 1940’s by a man that fixed radios for a living- in the home. We found papers and receipts stuck in the baseboards when we were renovating that led us to this conclusion. Things that make you go hmmm?

3…. I stay up way too late every night (3 a.m. to 6 a.m.) and need to start getting to bed earlier. Maybe that’s why I’m hearing strange sounds in the night?

4…. I love to cook but haven’t done as many home cooked (made from scratch) meals as I like lately. I’ve been cheating with pre-made frozen stir fries, or already made hamburgers.

5…. I’m more than 6 inches taller than my husband. Our wedding pictures look funny. We have one with him standing on a chair to kiss me.

6…. I got sent home from a school 3 day outdoor camping trip when I was 13 because I got caught skinny dipping with a few other students.

7…. I wouldn’t eat cooked veggies when I was a kid no matter how my mother made them, but I would eat a number of them raw. So it wasn’t all that unusual for everyone else to be eating mashed potatoes or boiled turnip (yuck) and green beans, and for me to have each of these items raw on my plate. I still like raw green beans and potatoes.

8…. My parents were in their mid forties when I was born, and my oldest brother is almost 20 years older than I am.

9…. My eyes are Hazel but when I’m tired or have been crying they turn brilliant green, and when I’m feeling ill they have a yellow tinge to them.

10…. I don’t think I have a favorite color – I like several shades of most colors.

11…. My favorite meal is a nice juicy rare steak, but I can’t eat that very often because my tummy doesn’t like it lately.

12…. I’m reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown right now and I’m loving it. I think it might actually be better than the Da Vinci Code.

13…. I’m going to post a grilled vegetable recipe tomorrow that you should come back for and try on the weekend. It’s fantastic. I haven’t had one person tell me that they didn’t like it and most come back for seconds and thirds and …

Insomniacs of the world, unite! We could take over, you know. While the rest of the world sleeps.

The radio thing is a bit strange. The house that I grew up in was haunted by an elderly man. We (and all our neighbors and visitors) saw him quite often, and heard him even more frequently! I’m a skeptic about many things, but I do believe that emotions linger…

Raw potatoes are actually very good for you, but I’m sure you knew that already!

You must be very, very tall. I’ve always wished I was tall. Tall people never look chubby (the bane of my existence!). And you have hazel eyes. *sigh* I’m green with envy!

I don’t get very much sleep either. I’m looking forward to that recipe. Have a wonderful weekend. Be Well…

#3: We set our alarm clock to TRY to get in bed in the right time….. (LATE!)

#4: Cooking – Yummy. Love homecooking. At least to eat it 😉

#5: That isn’t funny, that is darn CUTE!!!!!

I’m going to get Angels and Demons because I loved the Da Vinci Code. Thanks for telling me about it.

WP blogrolls must randomly show your links, because sometimes my link shows up in your sidebar and sometimes it doesn’t.

    My TT is up.

I’m with you on the late nights and funny noises. Oh and my eyes change colour to, but mine depend on what the weather is like.

    Odd.

    Good TT =)

I hear funny noises as well. I’ve never been able to eat a potatoe raw. I don’t like most veggies. I’ve not read the Da Vinci Code yet either so I need to get moving.

    My TT is up!

I thought Angels and Demons was soooo much better than The Da Vinci Code…at least there’s not been any controversy on this one, that I know of yet anyway! The ending is totally wild!

Oh my on the raw potatoes! I actually did a science project in school that involved raw potatoes (feeding them to people blindfolded – with and without their nose pinched – the whole smell/taste thing). Anyway! Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Wow! Nice list, I can’t believe I missed it on thursday. Raw potatoes – wow, and nude at 13! More than 6 inches is quite a height difference. We are the other way around.
