Tricia, I encourage you to check your vital signs and get a complete blood work up. Also a cardiac work up could be insightful. Since you are a nurse you know where I’m going with this. As you know also, persons with chronic conditions get attention to that issue and other systems are neglected or ignored. Don’t assume that no or low risk factors, and “good” cholesterol levels exclude a person from cardiac issues. I speak from personal experience.
I love naps . Sometimes long , sometimes short. I usually am not groggy unless I woke up before I was fully rested.

When I was younger, my naps were much more refreshing. Now, not so much. I’m almost better off if I don’t take one. Sorry you had such a late nap. I hate when that happens.

actually,an afternoon nap is a must to keep you refresh for other part of the day.
