Oh no! I thought it was only me. I have noticed that when I click to put up a new post, I get a Wp error. That is about it other than the slow loads. I just switched to Hostgator. I hope they get things fixed. I wonder if Mrs. McComber is having problems.

I haven’t come across hostgator.

I used to have hostgator. Until the price got a little higher than I was willing to pay. But, don’t blame them to much. Things happen all the time in cyber space.

At least you can login it. My site is up but I could not ‘get in today’.

Thanks for the ‘heads up’ though. At least I’ll know whats happening if I see something ‘goofy’ here (that you did not intend).

Hey Tricia, I use HG for a couple of blogs and my sites and I have not had any issues. Have you checked with WP to see if they have done anything, or have any kind of updates. It can be really frustrating when you are not in control and have to rely on others to get things working. If you moved who would you look at? I also have a site on Midphase, they have been pretty good, but I haven’t really pushed their system to hard yet. Good luck!

I have loved HG since I started but lately they are really screwing up! I did note that even their site was down for a while last week. My site was taken down because my subscription to pay through pay pal was somehow removed(?), but they never let me know OR sent an invoice to me!

They did turn it back on but since I have trouble still logging in to my email all the time. My site is down again now and I am getting upset because, as a designer, I am recommending them all the time!

First Hostgator had these problems with wordpress blogs. Then shortly after they had a widescale outage for several hours. Luckily my friend was willing to let me move my hostgator hosted website to his server for free. I understand that these things are tough to control, but people are too reliant on a web host for them to be making mistakes.

Hey Tricia,I am also using Hostgator for my 7 blog sites.I am not facing any kind of problem off late.Which browser are you working on? If it is Mozilla and you have upgraded to 3.5.2 then yes that is creating problem with WP. So just check it first.

Hello,

I’m the owner of hostgator and I just came across this blog post of yours. I see that you are still hosted with us but nonetheless I’m going to send you an email to make sure you are 100% satisfied and that everything was taken care of.

I’m not sure why you were experiencing the issues that you were but in a lot of these cases it’s a plugin causing the issues. If anyone here ever has an issue with us I can be personally reached at brent @hostgator.com

Thanks!!
