I almost started to write that we don’t have sweet fries here and you wrote a recipe. Maybe not today but later I’m gonna prepare it for my hubby. Thanks!

I love sweet potato fries. Yummy!

Sweet potatos won’t get crispy in the oven, because they have natural sugars that caramelize, keeping them soft. It wasn’t your addition of brown sugar that did it…

The only way to get crispy sweet potato fries is to deep fry them. :(

Thanks for the amazing recipe – I made them tonight and they were delicious. Thanks for the great tip about cutting them in circles – definitely saved a ton of time. Also they turned out sort of like a chip which made decorating/arranging the plate a lot of fun! :-) I think I cut them a little too thin so maybe will try them a little thicker next time and also started to run out of time therefore had to increase the time to 450 degrees about 20 mins in and then after 5 minutes put the broiler on to give them some crispiness. It worked well although think I left them under it for a couple of seconds too long because they started to get a little burned.

Although overall – loved them and can’t wait to try again. Didn’t use the brown sugar although used the cayenne pepper, cinnamon and paprika and it was perfect. We also made salmon and a fruit salsa (cantaloupe, honeydew, red onions, little jalapeno and cucumbers with lime juice, mint and lime zest) to go along with them. Very pleased overall with dinner! :-)

You were right about the smell too…..it smelled like the holidays in our home! :-)

Thanks again for sharing and can’t wait to try more!
