Backs are certainly not meant for yard and garden work.

I wish I could say it was nice enough here for yard work… I live in Kansas and is just dumped about 2-3 feet of snow on us.

on earth hour we hung out at our neighbor house for 2 hours since his house cant be without power since he needs it for life support system for a family member. Everyone on the block just hung out and mingled.

No, I suppose you are right about backs and yards not mixing. I have two herniated discs in my lower back and most of the time it doesn’t bother me but, let me get outside and work in the yard and garden, especially if there is a lot of twisting and constant bending, we’ll start to feel the pain.
