I’ve never even seen a Passion Flower before. It’s stunning!

I’ve only seen Passion flowers abroad earlier, or in greenhouses. I love them, they’re so beautiful with the “standing up” look of them.

I think you’ll find my GTS post really interesting this time….

Yours is a different variety from mine. I wonder how many varieties there are? I wouldn’t mind having a few more. Don’t they smell heavenly!

Absolutely stunning shot!! After I get my new computer, I’m definitely getting a good macro lens so I can take better flower shots.

Do the flowers only look pretty or do they have a sweet fragrance as well Tricia?

That is a lovely photo! What kind of camera do you use?

Carol I have several varieties of Passion flowers but I can’t remember all their names right now. Some smell quite nice while others don’t really have a scent. We had one for a couple of years (it died while being overwintered in our house) that’s flowers smelled like bubblegum! That was a nice one!

Lyndon most of the flowers have a light beautiful scent, but a few of the varieties that I’ve grown didn’t seem to have any scent at all.

thanks for the compliments on the picture. I love using the macro feature on my camera.

Gary my camera is a Canon EOS 30D SLR. At this point I only have the standard lense that came with the package and it’s an 18 to 55 mm lens.

The flower looks like it’s been turned inside out!

We have a few that seem to flower all summer with no watering!
Also for the first time we actually had some fruit off them.
They were very small but the little soft seeds inside were delicious. Have you had any fruit?
