I watched the vice presidential debates last night. It was interesting, but I heard nothing new. Both candidates weren’t very good at answering the actual question the moderator posed. Must be because they are politicians.

As most people already know who they are voting for, it must be very wearing.

These things billed as ‘debates’ are really a question followed by a memorized portion of a stump speech. The questions are never answered, usually not even addressed. A real debate would have nothing but 2 candidates on the stage, each given 3 minutes with no interuption by the other and go……..

Kouji yes here in Canada about 80% of the stations carry American broadcasting so whenever there’s a presidential address or American debates or any HUGE news that takes over the US stations we see it too.

It’s just that that night our Canadian stations were all covering the Canadian Federal election debate and most of the American stations were covering the US presidential debates … so there was pretty much nothing on if you weren’t interested in watching either debate.
