What’s happening with Adsense this month?

Do you use Adsense on your websites? Have you noticed that you’re making less money this month?

I have!

My Adsense income has been on a steady increase since last September and after making some changes to my sites in April I started to make truly decent income. However I’ve noticed that this month I’m only making half or even less than that of what I used to make each day over the last few months.

Today’s earnings took a real downturn. I don’t know if Adsense is being slow in reporting or what’s going on but I’ve only made a few dollars! I”m used to making quite a bit more.

I won’t say exactly what my usual Adsense earnings are, but over the last few months it’s been enough to pay more than half my mortgage, so it’s a reasonably decent amount.

Are the advertisers cutting their budgets? Are they on holidays? I don’t know what’s happening, but all month I’ve been earning at a much lower rate than I normally do, yet my traffic has gone up.

As I started out by asking – Do you use Adsense on your website? Have you noticed that you are making less this month than you normally do? I’m just curious if others are in the same boat as I am.

Hi! I do use adsense on my site and I haven’t made a penny from it … so I don’t know whats up with that. I am always surprised to hear people say they earn so much. Weird.

There’s definitely something screwy going on; my earnings dropped like a rock this month!! I think Google changed something, maybe the algorithm used to calculate traffic or clicks. I used to make a good amount, not great. This month I’m not sure if I’ll make it to the $10 dollar mark.

and to think I was afraid I was missing out on some decent earning by not messing with Adsense. That is too bad that your income through them has decreased so much. They sure don’t make it easy do they?

How does Kontera work? Do you make anything with it?

I think you are right…advertisers are backing off on their marketing budgets a bit? I don’t think Google has changed anything, you’d see it all over the SEO blogosphere within 30 seconds. I have noticed a pretty steady decline (not huge) over the past 3 months – And not only with Adsense.
My best revenue comes from selling/sold 125 x125 ad space on my sites. These are in my control – a fixed monthly rate.

I have same problem. My earning downturn about 10%. yesterday, my adsense profit back to 6month ago: 1 cents/ click
