I just wanted to take a moment and wish all of my American friends and visitors a very happy Independence day.
I hope that each of you have a great day whether you are spending the day with family, attending 4th of July events, parties and fireworks or just enjoying the day relaxing.

We celebrated Canada Day on Tuesday. Instead of going to see the fireworks as planned we spent a good portion of the day gardening and then we had a nice meal and just relaxed. It was a good day.
Here’s a good one. Some left a comment on one of my husbands blog posts about Canada Day yesterday asking “Do Canadians do anything to celebrate July 4th?” LOL No – that’s your day, however many Canadians are likely starting their summer holidays today so maybe that’s how some Canadians are celebrating.
