Oh oh, I think I might be getting that flu that Chris has now too. I felt like crap all night last night and all day.
Chris got up today to go to work, but he came back upstairs at 8:30 to ask me to call in sick for him. I’d just fallen asleep. Well, I’d fallen into a light sleep full of really strange dreams and then Chris came in the room saying “I’m sick - call my boss for me?”. I didn’t mind doing that for him, but I wish he hadn’t woken me up.
If this is the flu it’s a weird flu. I feel a little bit nauseous, but then I feel that way on and off with my Crohn’s too. Mostly I just feel blah … and weak and dizzy. Oh and my tongue feels like home theater carpet. Maybe I should go get some water?
It seems that the flu is really hitting Toronto hard. We’re apparently in an “unofficial” quarantine. I’m not exactly sure what that means … maybe there’s unofficial travel advisories?
