This is so frustrating. I use Eudora as my email program and for the last several months anytime I visit a website that has flash on it – say a widgetbucks ad or something else, heck even a YouTube video will do it – my email program freezes up until the next time it’s set to collect email.
It even freezes as I’m checking my email. As I said in a recent post I get about 25,000 emails a month (yes a lot is junk, but a lot of it is from the mailing lists I run, comments on my blogs or websites and from friends, family and business connections) so it’s really frustrating deleting five emails, having the program freeze, waiting for five minutes and then going back to approve a comment and so on.
I’ve gone to the Eudora site to see if others had this problem and I found that a few had similar complaints. I tried the fixes but they don’t work for me.
Does anyone else use Eudora? I’m using version 220.127.116.11. I think there’s an upgrade, but I have a feeling it won’t help. It’s got to be something on my laptop clashing with Eudora. I use Eudora on my desktop computer (maybe one version lower) and it doesn’t act up like this.
