Wordless Wednesday Aw … the deer want in! If it keeps snowing here the way it has we’ll probably start to see deer wandering around! Honestly. We’re in the process of getting about 30 more centimeters of snow here in Toronto and those of us with small lawns literally have no place left to put the snow. We might also have an ice storm too. Oh goody. I posted this photo of the snow almost as high as our car last week on one of my other blogs after last weeks snow storm and now the snow is piled higher than our car. I really can’t lift the snow much higher and when I do try it just starts to slide off. This is getting crazy! Apparently we’ve already reached or passed the February record for snow at our airport and we aren’t even half way through the month! This is certainly a snow year around here! I wonder if any market research studies have been done about how this much snow affects people and their shopping habits! I’m sure a lot of shovels and snow blowers were purchased here in Toronto this month. I’ll have to try to take a photo of our puppy trying to climb up the mound of snow on our lawn. She sinks into it right up to her neck. Still … she insists on climbing it so that she can do her business. It’s pretty funny. If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been the last couple of days I’ve either been hiding indoors since it’s been getting to -30 Celsius (-22 F) with the windchill - and when you’ve got a constant fever that’s really not much fun, or else I’ve been outside shoveling!

Oh my ! and I haven’t seen snow since at least 3 years ! and even then it was so poor you couldn’t even make a snow man ! Your cat “kissing” the deer through the window is so sweet ! A nice Valentine picture !
what a lovely picture. it should always be like that. were they not afraid of the person taking the picture?
There isn’t a sleigh and a guy with a beard and red suit there is there? Tell him to come back in December!
What a great picture! The only thing we ever had looking in our patio door was a racoon, as he sat and ate our dog’s food!
That is one of the coolest pics I have ever seen! We miss the snow so badly. My kids just got a kick out of this one 2.
HAHAHA good one, there are many incidents happen in the world like this, but the good thing is to catch them and it needs creativity and sources.
Thank you for sharing, will save the pic in my collection.
Oh……that is the sweetest picture. At first I thought that was your back porch with a deer trying to get in. Then I realized it wasn’t. What an awesome little picture.

OMG!!! Poor deer, it must be freezing out there!
happy WW!
