They’ll eat anything!

Wordless Wednesday

Can you imagine!

I’ve never had anything quite like this happen to me before – and I’m glad of it!, but I have had a few interesting encounters with animals in zoos and animal sanctuaries.

I remember once when I was a little kid my family took a road trip to the States. I’m not sure where we were exactly, but we went to a zoo or something that allowed people to walk in the very large enclosure that held deer, llamas and I’m certain there was a buffalo in there too.

Well you know at places like that there are food stations that people can buy pellets or in my case a cracker type of food to feed the animals. When I got my food to give to the animals they totally mobbed me! I was maybe 3.5 feet tall at the time and I was surrounded by I’m sure 20 deer. I’m pretty sure I was terrified and screaming. It certainly is a vivid memory!

    I cannot even imagine.

When I was in Kindergarten, we took a field trip to the zoo. They warned all of us to tuck our name tags in our shirts, but of course, one kid did not listen. He was screaming as two goats were aggressively eating his name tag. Evil child I was, laughed hysterically (what a jerk I was!)

Oh, that would be brilliant. Of course, I’m the big animal suck – I’ve fed horses and sheep (of course), cuddled rabbits and puppies, stroked iguanas, hugged llamas, tickled kitties, and pet a lion. So, I am so up for a little camel love. What fun!

    Cheers.

The beast seems very pleased of the joke, you don’t seem as thrilled as him.
I went on a walk with lamas. Very nice animal. It was nearly summer, and I’ve put sun cream on my face. And one of them like the scent of it, apparently. At one moment, i’ve turned my face to look at something, just to find myself been kissed by a lama ๐Ÿ™‚ It was just behing me, waiting for a chance to taste my cream…
